Well he’s the only member of the team who was born human. That’s definitely saying something. Especially when all of these monsters were wronged by humans in a way.
I hope Nina's role on this team becomes clear in the final episode because she's been more of a passenger than an active participant for most of this season. I'm guessing since she's the most "human" of the bunch, she'll be the one to talk down the Bride from killing the Princess.

Waller is a pragmatist but she's always showed empathy for her people, just none for the villains, heroes and monsters of DC.
