hootenhtn thanks! Lucky for me the side A stylus is almost brand new. Side B is a bit old but still sounds pretty good. I just hope they both last. Also I don't have any valuable 45s in the jukebox
From what I understand it uses specific cartridges that are really hard to find. The girl I got the jukebox from said that when she had to replace a needle, she had a really difficult time finding one. She even had to resort to buying some guys whole jukebox (that included a needle) just so she could find a replacement. She ended up using that machine as a parts machine, which I have ended up with too.
Oh yes 100% correct. Lucky for me I don't have very many "valuable" 45's. In fact I've been collecting 45's for about 10 years for the day when my "dream jukebox" would arrive. Didn't think that day would come, and in fact I've nearly given away my 45's collection a few times just because they weren't getting played. Now that I have a big electric storage box for them its all good. It will be interesting to see just how much wear the needle does to the records. Hopefully not much...
Brian Bringelson trust me I've got a lot of junk 45, not that they're bad songs, they're just not in the greatest condition, perfect when I get my own jukebox!
Very Cool Brian. Good Luck with it
Very cool, Brian. Now I want one. lol
Paul, we could be jukebox pals!
I think we would be more like Jukebox Heroes, as Foreigner would say.
I love it , that's great ! Can't wait for the next "audio test" step. :)
Very cool & interesting!!
very cool ...I really want one now
Sweet! Hope the stylus isn't too worn.

You did get my CDR's, correct?
Oh how I wish my family had one !
Very cool! I've never seen the inner workings before. Does it use the same type of cartridges as a standard turntable?

I guess it's wise only to use nice worn out 45s, looks like that needle will destroy valuable 45s.
