Im using this video as a little refrence guide for my own howl cosplay! i was just wondering how many metres/yards of each fabric did you use for this jacket?

I believe I used around 3 yards for pink and red and 2 yards for blue. Of course always better to overestimate than not

Hi I was wondering what fabric used for the blue diamonds, pink diamonds, inner lining, the white part of the sleeves, and the gold trim

I used just a broadcloth I got at Joann for the diamonds, lining and the sleeves! The gold/yellow trim is a double fold yellow bias tape also from Joann!

Please explain how you did the collar! I’ve been trying to draft a collar for my jacket and I’m struggling to get the shape right. Does the secret lie in the neckline shape? Idk what to do

What stitch do you use to attach the diamonds? I'm sorry if I didn't catch it in the video

how long in advanced should you start/how long did it take as a whole?

I would recommend starting a month or two before you need it finished! I would say the jacket itself took me close to a month to finish, it’ll vary depending on how much time you have to spend on it during the day though!
