I wonder if anyone can recommend a specific abacus in USA to make sure the beats stay up don’t fall down on “earth” on their own.
I mean, of a good quality so the beats stay where they are supposed to be, not falling/sliding ? That would mess up the whole calculation.

I saw kids doing this thing in class... Looked weird but i figured out it was kids using mental abacus. And something in me clicked... Im so pissed off that western culture dropped this from its base knowledge.... And stopped teaching it. It makes do much more sense then memorizing math facts or doing speed tests for multiplecaction.... Rather then teach memorization teach the figure it out skill. I was so frustrated in math because i was always just told the end result never the thoery... Western culture wants to forget the basics so we are reliant on the system
It's proven result oriented... Millions of students are benefited thru this program
