What a great idea for Ann Harper, there really is only so many hours in a day that you can stitch. So excited to see a small start, I am team Surfine as well. Your AKGITis amazing and love when you show the back. My Mom always looks at the back first, drives me crazy but she says it has to look like the front so no carry over threads here. The Britomart sampler is stunning and you have created an amazing thistle, it’s hard to find one done well. Thanks for sharing your projects and who knows, the AKGIT may be done soon. Happy Stitching

I'm plowing away on AKGIT but there's still a great deal to go - over 4 pages still of very dense and detailed stitching. I'll finish but it'll take me a hot minute and then some...

When we were visiting my brother in law a couple of years ago the owner did a private needle tatting class for me but she had lots of fabric and I joined her mail list. She has Silk Charmeuse which I got and is good for pincushions. Not sure if this is a source for you but thought I would share. She also does costume designs for plays, it’s a pretty cool place.
I really enjoyed listening to you talk about your work. You are so passionate about what you do. Your stitching is so meticulous too. I have not tried stutching with silk. Maybe one day. I have a Vierlande pattern kitted up. I see yours and I want to start mine but I'm not ready yet. Love seeing your progress.

(Probably something similar to that backing fabric.) I bet you end up stitching it. The Soie Surfine looks great on “Little Berry Thief”. What great colors. Can you also show that Reversible Stitching reference again? I couldn’t find it in the previous show notes. And is Laura outdoing you on Xmas ornaments? Thank you! I'm using a Lowery stand but it's not a great fit with the Millennium frame. It can take the weight but the round bars don't clamp particularly well. And the reversible stitching piece was Needlemade Designs Reversible Cross Stitch Sampler, it's beautifully diagrammed and very well explained.
