Do you know what OpSec is? Most of the reports are delayed between 7-10 days. Official Russian MoD are all lies, and I heard the warbloggers were threatened prison/death if they didn't shut up, so I wouldn't rust them, either.

North of the occupied territory is Kursk (biggest city in region) and Kursk power plant. All the movements to the left or to the right are inconsequential strategically for Ukraine as there’s nothing but empty fields. As to area cut off by the river, Russia held it for now, but for Ukraine the only purpose to move there is just to stretch Russia’s defensive lines, all the main objectives are on the north and in this direction invasion is completely stopped and even being repelled from northeast.
