I remember going on this ride a few years ago. My head got banged around so much, I wish I'd had a helmet lmao.
It's called that, because it gives you a concussion during the ride

@@ArrowLooper The only account I could find of such happening was an older woman whose harness malfunctioned during the ride, and came slightly loose, causing her to repeatedly smash her head on the seat and sides of the harness as the ride went on in its entirety. I rode it a few times in a row in one evening some years ago. I got a bit dizzy and it triggered a hyperventilation episode, but it didn't give me anything resembling a concussion or any lasting injury, and I certainly remembered the ride.
A ride I personally have gotten a concussion on is actually tea cup rides. Repeatedly now, though before the first serious one I never had an issue with them at all.

If you watch off ride, you can see the catch wheels slam into the track.
Vekoma SLCs look soo smooth when you're watching them... but once you ride...

I went on this ride with my best friends cousin cause he wanted us to go on all the rides she couldnt cause she gets sick when things go upside down so we went on and it was so fun ,she finally went on it this year.

actually the mind eraser at Elitch and Darien were put up in the same year and they are the same exact coaster in fact there are 26 of that exact coaster in the world one being at the new park I work at called the twisted typhoon

2 days ago my mom's boy friend went on this ride while I was watching and he lost his phone :-/ I guess you could call it the phone eraser...
I think when my dad was riding this in 2006, he lost his wallet. He had to get new credit cards and stuff.

Please don’t use your phone on roller coasters
You can buy pants with velcro flaps over the pockets to keep your phone and wallet from falling out. These pants DO NOT look good but at least they keep you from loosing everything when you're at an amusement park.

this ride is EXACTLY like The Guantlet here in Arkansas! every little bit of the ride is the same! the only difference is the name and color of the ride. just imagine this whole thing yellow and keep the seats red and you got The Guantlet! thats pretty cool! you ride this you also ride the guantlet!

OMG my family and I are going to NY this summer to visit family and go to Darien Lake and my dad wants me to ride this, the Viper, and the Ride of Steel! :P lol
+Marley Herberger This ride sucks. The Viper sucks. The Ride of Steel is just ok, and Darien Lake as a whole sucks.
***** No. Darien Lake is one of the closest parks to me and I hate it. Ride of Steel is good but you can ride a better version of it in Maryland. Mind Eraser is absolutely awful. A roller coaster is not supposed to bash your brains in. Viper is rough. Predator is very rough. MotoCoaster is REALLY boring. And there are dozens of exact copies of Boomerang at better parks all over the world. Darien Lake also has horrible maintenance, horrible operations, sub par employees, and a car theft problem in their parking lot but they still haven't installed cameras or got surveillance.
Arrived at 9pm went on this having never seen it in daylight no clue what to expect, adds a bit of sketchyness to it

We have one with the same name same colors and everything here in Denver. It's like our only coaster worth anything except maybe *maybe* The boomerang. Wish it didn't almost give me a brain aneurism every single time.

I actually wish Missouri had a SLC. I really want to ride one.
It's a fun ride, but make sure you push your head back hard against your seat. It still might hurt your head a bit as it is pretty jerky. If you don't mind your head getting hit around a little bit, it's a really cool ride.

Soapy Banana All Vekoma inverts are the same, with the same layout and ride experience, just like the Boomerangs.

The one on Blue Tornado is different than the one on this. Very similar design though.

Who did you see?
You aren't suppose to lean your head to the side. You keep it back on the head rest. There is a sign as you go. If you ever choose to go on this again, I recommend to go on the first kart. You feel more free then the karts behind it.
Why are you calling it a kart lmao. Keeping your head forward is the best way too

This is an exact copy of the moreys piers noreaster. It was designed for that pier specifically and then i heard it was massed produced. great coaster anyways.

at first I was a bit confused.. then I started to get that they were upside down xD I thought it was invisible.
I used to like this 20 years ago, but I rode this in 2021 and said never again. It should be torn down and replaced with something new and not extremely painful, rough, and concussion inducing.
It’s called the Mind Eraser for a reason...
