Sooo SO beautiful!! Thank you for sharing! what resist are you using? You didn't go over that. Which company makes it, which item is it, where do you get it? It is such a lovely gold color! Thanks!!
I just discovered your channel and I'm very glad I did! You've given me lots of helpful ideas - like putting the dye into a squeezy bottle - why didn't I think of that before?? 😂Also your stretcher frame looks great. Greetings from Sydney x
Your art is very good. What type of silk you are using. From Scotland where I will get can you tell me. When I am painting on silk the cloth is become little stiff. Why can you tell me. I am using pebeo silk colours.

Hi been following you on you tube and love your work. Just started with silk painting and still on basics. Have tried a few different fabrics to practice on but not found right one. What’s the alternative to silk and what type of thinner do you use to make colours lighter. I have started using Pebep paints as it less hassle to mix the dried powder type. Anne
Thank you for your question! I actually apply the colours to dry fabric, which allows for more control over the paint flow and details. I hope this answers your query.
Thank you! It happened to me too! My problem was I didn't steam it long enough plus washed too hard. Sulotion: steam 3 to 3:30 hours. Wash gently. (It could also be the outline is too thick). Post pics on fb silk group to see other options from other silk painters. 😊
That has happened to me in the past. I've learned that you have to let the resist lines dry and then iron set it BEFORE steaming the silk. You don't have to iron set it before you paint, but you have to iron set it before steaming or it will come off and disappear in the steaming. Make sure to place papers between the iron and the dried resist. I specifically used metallic resist. I also used Jacquard Gutta Resist, which to me seems like a contradiction but.....? I no longer use any type of gutta or resist. Hope that helps!
Sure, for red I used 488 and 460, for black I used concentrate Noir diluted with water/thiner for different tones. The brand of silk paint I used in this video is HDupont. Hope that's helpful 😊

Thank you Anne. Ponge 5 and Habotai 8 are the silk type I use. You can just use water to dilute. Or order concentrate silk thinner.
Very nice
Nice work👍could show how to make the stretching frame at home.
I was going yo ask same thing...
Such beautiful work!!!
🎨
I have made improvements to my frames, will put up a video soon :)
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing with us. Could you tell me what kind of paints do you use? What paint is the golden one you use for the lines? Thanks
Thanks 🙏
The gold lines were painted with ‘Gutta’ it’s a resist
Did you iron before you washed it?
How do you keep the colors from bleeding and blending ?
Trabalho lindo!
The colors are the same as your blouse
I love ur painting mam whats name of colours how can buy colours in india
Very Nice 👍👍👍
Did you iron it first on the reverse, and then wash it in warm water to remove the gutta?
I don't iron them not until I finished paint the scarf, and I keep the gold Gutta as a part of the design
Can we use jacquard dy na flo instead of h Dupant?
Yes, you can!
Do you wet the fabric first and then apply the colors?
Thank you for your question! I actually apply the colours to dry fabric, which allows for more control over the paint flow and details. I hope this answers your query.
Nice! Did you steam it or just iron?
Thank you, I use steam fixed silk dye.
@@MiuArtStudioUK sorry I dont understand. Steam fix mean that you have to steam it at the end or no?
Hello Miu. This is so gorgeous! can you let me know what the gold is that you are using to make the outline?
Never mind - I think I got it: it's the gutta, correct? :)
@@nint2 Yes , it's Gutta resistant 😊
@@MiuArtStudioUK what brand of gutta resist are you using here? And do you have a link to the bottles and tips used for the application?
Can u plz guide me for gutta Or outliner you r using
Hi,I am a big fan of your art work.My gutta come off after washing the scarf...can you let me know why?
