Whole Chicken in Shawarma Seasoning!

This was very nice new Maggi seasoning from Aldi 89p, decided to put it on a whole chicken and cook it on the rotisserie, and I am glad i did absolutely delicious, nice juicy chicken and a very nice seasoning full of flavour, will definitely have this again. 9/10

Maggi seasonings and sauces are good you said my favourite word char . 89p what a very cheap way of spiceing up a chicken those fries do sound crispy do you do them in a deep fat fryer the proper way . Oven and airfrier aren’t the same if they were they would be in chip shops 👍👍👍

Yeah I do them in the deep fat fryer, they are the Aldi skin on fries in the freezer section 👍

We got a packet from Tesco 75p,we had it on chicken thighs and Mexican rice, absolutely brilliant.

Had this myself as kebabs a few weeks ago. I thought it was nice but it did have a slight curry taste. Did you think so? I might try it how you did it next time.

I've tried that before and thought it was nice. I used strips of chicken thigh fillet and peppers. I rubbed in some oil and then the spice blend, and cooked it in the air-fryer. Really quick and easy.

Most French Chefs are looking at you with a disturbed look Fat Andy, that's not the way to cook it for maximum flavour mon ami, tip cutting those grooves into a whole chicken is a non, coating the outside with spices is a non, (result is burned outside), outside only a quality oil massage, a little salt and pepper, under the skin put the spices, lemon juice, butter and spices mix. Hope this helps. You can use a thin spatutla or spoon to insert the spices mix under the skin if hands too big :) Oh yes I almost forgot, you don't need to use all the maggi spice packet, you can add the butter and salt , pepper, rosemary and thyme to make it super delicious.
