I swear that splinter episode should have been 18+ but it still was nowhere NEAR as bad as when squidward gets his toenail bent backwards when moving furniture. That STILL makes me shiver to this day, even worse when I was a kid.
why does the format the descriptions for the actions not seperated from the format of the dialogue? AND WHY DOES THE THE ACTION BEING DESCRIBED HAVE PUNCTUATION!?
Pet Sitter Pat wrote right: Gary keeps getting into dangerous situations and Patrick tries to save him because he’s paranoid SpongeBob will hate him if Gary gets hurt. THAT would be a funny episode.
That does seem more like the old seasons Patrick. He knows how much Gary means to his friend, and knows who bad it'll hurt him if Gary gets hurt. Patrick just wants to be a good friend and help, but he's sometimes he might unknowingly be a bit careless and might put Gary in a bad spot once or twice. But then realise the mistake and fix it, as that can happen when looking after a pet or child you're not used to being around.
YES! THIS is old-seasons Patrick! He may accidentally put Gary in a bad spot at one point and not realize what he did at first, but he'd definitely do his best to help Gary get out of the situation and eventually succeed Also a bit off topic, but Pet Sitter Pat is made worse because Squidward, despite wanting to relax for the weekend, started panicking in fear of SpongeBob seeing a sick Gary in I Was a Teenage Gary the moment the bus was coming home. SQUIDWARD! So why do the writers think that Patrick the Prick was right for a pet sitting episode?
you know what also traumatised me in a similar way? i don't remember the episode but there's that one scene where spongebob pushes a couch on squidward's foot and his toenail (which he suddenly has for no reason) gets pushed back. it's disgusting.
Yep. That episode was House Fancy, i didn't think it was a Horrible episode, there's been plenty of worse ones, but it's just that one scene is just....erm.
Diamond Miner Animaniac what you mean no one watched it? they made a FULL COMIC CON ALL ABOUT THAT SHOW AND CONVENTION. People loved that show. it got canceled because there was a bloody gir on there cd release
They canceled Zim because it was too controversial at the time. (The show was -really- dark in comparison to Nick's other shows.) It also was victim to a lot of Soccer mom's bitching. The show wasn't making enough money to justify keeping it on the air with the oncoming heat so it got shut.
I know, it never really occurred to me when I was a kid, but somewhere in my mid teens I watched that episode again I realized that episode is really disturbing. Plankton’s a nightmare doesn’t exactly help.
My personal FAVORITE Spongebob episode is Band Geeks. Squidward, my favorite character on the show is the main focus, and Spongebob takes a considerable backseat and isn't annoying whatsoever. All the other characters are here too, and they all reflect their personalities in short, and funny ways. Greedy Mr. Krab's "When do we get the free food?" and Planktons Harmonica performance were great, and who could forget Patrick's "Is Mayonnaise an Instrument?" Joke that was SO stupid, it made people laugh? But in this episode, Squidward ends up a winner. Squidward and Mrs. Puff mainly get whole eleven minute episodes dedicated to just torture them. How great. I like it when the loser finally wins, it's just a shame that newer episodes just treat Squidward as a hatful punching bag. In the newer episodes, I even find him a little unlikeable.
I know what you're talking about considering Whatever Happened to Spongebob and Little Yellow Book. I Heart Dancing is one modern episode that actually did right what other episodes torturing Squidward did wrong because he actually was doing bad things to deserve it and not just trying to get on with his life like Good Neighbors, Boating Buddies, and Smooth Jazz at Bikini Bottom. January 6, 2017, 4:52pm
i feel like squidward was just kinda... designed to dislike. he seems mean and grumpy all the time, but it was probably as a result of the torment and torture he gets. i feel bad for squidward.
I actually saw "A Pal for Gary" as a kid. I hated it so much, and I had to leave the room whenever it came on. Cartoons aren't supposed to be like that.
Randomalistic: One time, some friends came over, and the episode Wormy came on. I left the room, went into my dad's bedroom, locked the door, and stayed in there for a long time, even refusing to turn on the TV for fear of a scary Wormy scene coming on the screen.
Even though Plankton is a villain, He didn't deserve this treatment, The real villain here is Mr Krabs, One course meal was a horrible and unforgivably insensitive episode, Watching Plankton continuously getting tortured and driven to point to end his life is not funny.
Agreeable, maybe if they at least cut off the ending to where it’s just Plankton laughing at Mr. Krabs suffering from his fear of mimes, maybe the episode would get even just a little less heat than it does now I know two wrongs don’t make a right, but still at least Plankton would get his very deserved payback on Mr. Krabs, and the episode wouldn’t end on Mr. Krabs (who is definitely the villain, at least in this episode) winning
5. I was a Teenage Gary - Worst pre movie episode 4. Ink Lemonade - Worst post sequel episode 3. A Pal for Gary - This is the worst spongebob has acted. 2. The Splinter - I vomited before Mr. Krabs ripped out the splinter. 1. One Course Meal - Suicide, boring, disturbing, and cruel.
the 6th dislike was a random fish from bikini bottom the 7th was from Mr Krabs the 8th was from Gary the 9th dislike was from a random person from the internet (it wasent me -.-)
ugh, I hate The Splinter...Looking at the title card makes me sick... Spongebob you're Fired is not frustrating, it's just really BORING Pet Sitter Pat speaks for itself. Demolition Doofus. The only thing I liked about the episode was the derby. Stuck in the Wringer is just....awful. One Coarse Meal is personally offensive to me. I used to be suicidal and this is just a horrible message to kids everywhere.
Thank God that Steven Hillenburg returned to the show. By the looks of it, the new season looks ok. Haven't watched but I just I'm not disappointed by it.
New writers: What do you think of this episode Paul tibbitt(points at one coarse meal)? Paul tibbitt: Mr.Krabs driving Plankton to suicide! Yes! That's a great idea for a kids cartoon! Put it on the air! New writers: No problem boss! Kids will love it!
Can I just say how Stuck In The Wringer affected me as a kid. I was being bullied when this episode aired and I thought that I was wrong as a person if I tried standing up for myself. And that people would be mad at me if I said anything to defend myself. This shows that kids shows have an affect on young kids and how they view certain things.
Rainbow Dash Squidward doesn't have a happiest memory, so Spongebob tries to help him obtain one. However, it doesn't work and Squidward slips into a deep depression
The old episodes to this day are hilarious. Whenever I'm channel surfing and see spongebob I always check to see if it's an old one. They're just too funny. The new episodes though, just... UGH. The closest thing I can compare the new episodes to is Chuck Jones Tom and Jerry.
6. Disturbing, especially when it grew that vein 5. Eh... 4. Definitely one of Patrick's worst moments, and it really plays out how terrible Spongebob's judgment is 3. While I can see why Mrs Puff despises Spongebob--especially in THIS episode where he injured her so badly that her trademark inflation was disabled--her attempts at his life are callous nonetheless 2. Spongebob had every right to be pissed at Pat for gluing him to the wringer 1. This deserves the #1 spot for sure. I mean, I'm sure many of us would like to get back at our enemies for the terrible things they do. And Plankton should've stayed in his lane regarding stealing the formula after "Plan Z" failed. But using one's phobia against them is the absolute dirtiest tactic , especially when you do it repeatedly until it scars them for life
Besides the suicide jokes and Squidward being a little too depressed, that episode was nowhere near as bad as One Coarse Meal, A Pal for Gary, or any of the other horrible episodes.

season 4 was the transition. the creator left, and then all the writers left. the start of season 4 is just as good as the previous seasons, but by the end it was just as bad as everything that came after
Hillenburg never really left. He was always executive producer and would occasionally suggest some ideas and jokes still. And some writers stayed like Paul Tibbitt, Aaron Springer, Erik Wiese, and CH Greenblatt although he only wrote the first episode. And Tim Hill and Vincent Waller came back when they had wrote for season 1. And there were still some gems at the end of season 4
Princess Glaceon Well yeah...but for some reason I sympathize a bit more with squidward. He's just always sad in every episode. And in That episode...it's just full on depression. It just...gave the feeling of sadness a bit more than one course meal.
Princess Glaceon Sorry bout the bruise. Anyhow....the main reason I don't like "Are you happy now" Was it just highlights on how depressed squidward is. That's the main premise of the episode. And then the suicide jokes. It's just out of character for the show But....a depressed Zim............I'd watch it
If you noticed, your list is all modern day episodes that are literally all about torturing and having some sort of villainous vibe towards someone else, regardless of their character personality. Perfect representation of how this show became garbage. This show got completely ruined after seasons 4 and 5. Characters lost their charm, it has very little iconic humor, and the show teaches no valuable lessons like it used to. Nothing they come out with today will ever compare to what this show used to be like. Either the show needs their original creators back, or this show needs to be killed off, because I cannot take the nonsense of my childhood making me cringe beyond belief any longer. I'm sure the majority of people can relate...
Season 4 was really the last season to have any morals, and after season 5 the humor went to shit... What looks like what happened is after Hillenberg left the show after the movie, they may have recycled some unused archs that never came to fruition for about half of season 4, although the animation quality definitely improved. The rest was just whatever the fuck they came up with, which was pretty good as well. After this, though, so many people kept joining and leaving the show so often that season 5 begin to dip a bit, and then all hell broke lose from there; Basically the only thing that really happens now is that the animation quality slowly increases as the story quality decreases at a similar rate.
You know, squidbob tentaclepants was actually a pretty funny episode. It could have EASILY been one of the best of Season 4 if it didn't have that UNNECESSARY ending thing
A recent episode from season 11 “Ink lemonade” would’ve been a contender for this list. Pure dim-wittedness from Patrick/Spongebob and Squidward torture porn.
Howdy! Just a small side-project I’ve been meaning to do. Hope your new years week is going okay. Listed other planned side-projects below :) New suggestions appreciated too. A: Worst Disney Sequels B: Worst Movies C: Worst Sonic Games D: Worst Teen Titans Go
loud house is really good, i hope they dont fuck it up. But seriously I feel like Nickelodeon should make some kind of like adult network/oldie network that continues their favorite shows as a child. They clearly have enough money to do it, and they could earn a lot of money from doing that too. they have their cancerous network, and then they have this network.
How to make worst episode? Torture Gary, no matter who you are. Squidward (I Was A Teenage Gary) Patrick (Pet Sitter Pat) Even Spongebob himself (A Pal For Gary)
I'm surprised Fungus Among Us wasn't on the list. That one is probably my least favorite. It's just downright disgusting and almost made me vomit, whereas an episode like The Splinter just made me a little uncomfortable.
Alex VanKirk wait until you watch Red Mist. You. What is that? Why the show that never aired because of its violence, but an intern put it on youtube. It was took off, but there is a remake, watch it. Red Mist. You. Yes or No? Pls tell me.
I hated Boating Buddies. Spongebob was so creepy, annoying, irritating, and really pissed me off. Spongebob acted liked a obsessive stalker towards Squidward and it made me feel uncomfortable and angry. I never felt the urge to punch Spongebob's face more than I did after watching this. I know Spongebob really wants to be friends with Squidward, but he shouldn't act so obsessive and creepy. This episode was so cringy and it just made me really angry.
You thought that was bad? I hate the one where SpongeBob and Patrick go to school together and while that does sound awesome, Patrick got both of them in trouble at some point. Mrs. Puff was being a jerk to SpongeBob for a drawing he didn't even draw and him AND Patrick to detention. I guess both needed to learn their lessons, but it was still cruel to both of them. I did like the 25 section if it's on it and how SpongeBob and Patrick saved an egg together, but it still made me want to punch that Mrs. Puff. SpongeBob and Patrick didn't deserve this.
@@shuayb.n It may be a Season 3 episode but it felt mean spirited! New Student Starfish is literally nothing but a mean spirited episode that should have been in Season 4 or 5. >:(
Fun-fact: in a children's book of the same name ("Spongebob, you are fired") they change the whole premise. Spongebob is depressed after being fired, but quickly gets other jobs. They only focus on his job-hunting part there, only briefly mentioning how depressed he was. That was a MUCH better approach.
oh my gosh i hate the splinter too, it's so gross and horrifying... also i don't get the point. spongebob gets a splinter. that's the entire plot... really?
This is so much of a horrible fucking premise that this is literally where Animated Atrocities started because it's an understatement to consider Nickelodeon an atrocity.
8:54 - Plankton's disheveled appearance might be a direct reference to Howard Hughes from later in his life. At the time of his death, Hughes' head hair and facial hair was long, ragged, and greasy, and his fingernails were unclipped and several inches in length. He was also extremely isolated and anxious, not leaving his residence for months at a time, just like Plankton is portrayed in the episode. Of the few photos of Hughes that exist, one of them shows him sitting in a chair with tissue boxes on his feet, exactly like Plankton is doing in the episode. There is no way these similarities are mere coincidences.
I'm sad that A Pal for Gary wasn't *actually* on the list. I do consider it the worst episode in Spongebob. Very sad tbh...though I understand why One Coarse Meal is on there as the #1
I could see how all these episodes (except for The Splinter, and MAYBE Stuck in the Wringer) could be worse. I think Spongebob You're Fired and One Coarse Meal are tied for the worst.
Good thing the #1 choice is easy. That one episode where Beast Boy gets each and every one of the Titans killed in one sick prank, only for him to die as well. That's easily one of the most despicable things to ever be aired on CN ever.
Dude your description of "The Splinter" was spot on. "He gets the ULTIMATE MOTHER OF ALL SPLINTERS! A huge, pus filled, blood spewing VEIN FILLED SPLINTER!!!!" Genius work, PhantomStrider!
8:37 the person who made "gary's new friend" and ( I think) "one coarse meal" is the same guy who made "ren seeks help" which would definitely explain why they are so bad.
I still remember the first time I saw Spongebob murder those scallops. I was in shock that he could bring himself to kill over a krabby patty. Then again it is Modern Spongebob where everyone seems to be a sociopath
Most of the worst episodes basically come down to the fact that they are brutal, unrelenting displays of sadism and cruelty, usually focused on one particular character. And, often times without any sort of story, moral, lesson, or resolution. Just pointless evil for 24 minutes straight
I really didn't like the episode which spongebob turned into a snail like gary. I had repeated nightmares and I still feel creeped out whenever I see it.
Robert Desmond I actually forgot about that episode. I don't remember my full reaction back when the episode came out, but I think I can just narrow it down to slight enjoyment. It didn't impact me as much as other episodes.
A Pal for Gary is my favorite horror episode of SpongeBob SquarePants, eh? Just like to watch Pumpkinhead eats Gary the Snail, and I watching The Last Man on Earth on TH-cam for next month on my all new Samsung Laptop, A'ight?
I thought that episode was pretty funny, actually. It was definitely one of the weirdest and creepiest episodes from the first 3 seasons, so I can see why someone may not like it.
I was just saying that this show has over 300 episodes with plenty of bad episodes to talk about. And by the way, I really hate people smart mouthing me. It wouldn't be fun to have someone doing that to you.
Sadly, a TH-camr named "The Mysterious Mr. Enter" has managed to review basically EVERY episode mentioned except "Squidbob Tentaclepants"! And to top off his torture, he also found ways to review "House Fancy", "Squid Baby", "Someone's in the Kitchen with Sandy", and "Whobob Whatpants", among others!
Nylocke Dragon of the Cold Steel I don't care if Mr Enter is on the spectrum. He complains about the same things, got fans to bully the writers of the show (when he was trying to be an advocate for bullying,) and he just rants about bad things even when it's a good review. I tried to listen to his show but I honestly don't have the patience anymore.
It's not that people don't understand the fact of him being autistic. It's that no one knows jack shit about autistic people, and just assume it's okay to make fun of it. The logic of "We don''t know what it is, so let's just make fun of people who have it."
Search up worst pre-movie SpongeBob episodes... I guarantee at least 4 of these episodes are listed. - Dumped - I'm With Stupid - The Great Snail Race - Party Pooper Pants - I Was A Teenage Gary - The Sponge Who Could Fly
『D W B C』 these are top 3 (in my opinion) 1- I'm with stupid:for me its one of the worst episodes I ever see and Patrick is a really really big jerk to him its not funny 2-dumped:the same as I'm with stupid not and Gary was like to spongebob:get away from my face 3-the great snail race:I mean spongebob is pushing Gary to hard that he just exploded and there were some funny jokes but the whole episode is just awful
Pre-movie episodes I hated: -I'm with Stupid Patrick was a huge jerk to SpongeBob -The Great Snail Race Hardcore animal abuse -Hooky Pearl and her friends were so mean at the end of the episode, making fun of SpongeBob in his underwear. I hated them so much! -Sleepy Time SpongeBob's friends broke into his house for messing up their dreams. They're just dreams! Plus, why were Pearl and Gary mad at SpongeBob? He didn't mess up their dreams! -Squiliam Returns I couldn't stand seeing everyone so impressed of Squidward, and then everything getting ruined. -The Secret Box Patrick kept an embarrassing photo of SpongeBob so he could laugh at SpongeBob behind his back!
When Patrick put the splinter even farther it made me wanna cry and scream it was SOOOO unsatisfying. Bad news is as a toddler I saw all if these bad episodes and all I would watch was spongebob. ._.
GoldenTronicc Those circumstances were total irony, when someone says or does something that’s the opposite of what you expect. It’s worked in other situations, but people have taken it WAY too seriously in this one.
The one with Squidward totally being tortured by Spongebob- injured by him, sent to the hospital, injured while he hadn't even RECOVERED yet- was also pretty hard to watch.
My opinion for every episode: 6 - JEEBUS!!! I legitimally wanna puke...I feel illl... 5 - Ugh...the way they treat the unemployed... 4 - As if I didn't get enough reason to hate Patrick... 3 - I actually like this episode...tho I relate to it, I too hate Spongebob. (The character, not the series.) 2 - Read No.4. 1 - Dayum...I feel bad for Plankton, and Krabs is a complete JERK!!!
The show only got bad because Nickelodeon wanted to produce more episodes when the creator (Stephen Hillenburg) said he wanted the show to end after the first movie. The show became popularity and Nickelodeon justs didn't want to end the show to soon. So the creator left and Nickelodeon ended having full controll over it, that why the shows are horrible because they wanted to be on par with today's show that you see on Cartoon Network and Disney Chanel.
This is not why the show became bad; it was completely natural that they would keep airing it. The fault's on Nickelodeon because they failed to find a proper replacement. The new writer(s) didn't love nor understand the new show and they didn't even match with its audience. But of course if you get asked to participate in such a huge name you'll say yes, won't you. This is something I've seen happen to works of fiction more than once. Given that Stephen Hillenburg was sort of supervising the transition period, he may or may not be partially responsible, but I think he wanted to move on already, and blaming him wouldn't make sense as he made Spongebob to begin with.
My favorite joke in the splinter is when Mr Krabs is smelling for money and sniffed a guy's back pocket and said these quarters smell sad you're not gonna use them to get a refill are you😂😂😂
I swear that splinter episode should have been 18+ but it still was nowhere NEAR as bad as when squidward gets his toenail bent backwards when moving furniture. That STILL makes me shiver to this day, even worse when I was a kid.

Randomalistic: One time, some friends came over, and the episode Wormy came on. I left the room, went into my dad's bedroom, locked the door, and stayed in there for a long time, even refusing to turn on the TV for fear of a scary Wormy scene coming on the screen.
I totalyy agree. i HAT3 it.
Randomalistic plus patrick is gary's cousin
Randomalistic lmao me too I hated those episodes when a character gets tortured I still hate them
Even though Plankton is a villain, He didn't deserve this treatment, The real villain here is Mr Krabs, One course meal was a horrible and unforgivably insensitive episode, Watching Plankton continuously getting tortured and driven to point to end his life is not funny.
I don,t care if one course meal is violent I never noticed
@nostalgiakid1659i hated Krabs more not because of that episode, but after the one from earlier seasons where he abused jellyfish for jam.
Agreeable, maybe if they at least cut off the ending to where it’s just Plankton laughing at Mr. Krabs suffering from his fear of mimes, maybe the episode would get even just a little less heat than it does now
I know two wrongs don’t make a right, but still at least Plankton would get his very deserved payback on Mr. Krabs, and the episode wouldn’t end on Mr. Krabs (who is definitely the villain, at least in this episode) winning
5. I was a Teenage Gary - Worst pre movie episode
4. Ink Lemonade - Worst post sequel episode
3. A Pal for Gary - This is the worst spongebob has acted.
2. The Splinter - I vomited before Mr. Krabs ripped out the splinter.
1. One Course Meal - Suicide, boring, disturbing, and cruel.
Confetti popped out, and Plankton didn’t get run over.
World Wide Wrestling in my opinion Ink Lemonade is the worst episode ever
Anthony Quiles Could’ve been worse
Ink lemonade isn't even top 10 material.
David Paulescu That could’ve been worse.
Are you feeling it now phantomstrider?
Jagged55 ARE YOU FEELING IT NOW

Jagged55 Bunch of little kids: ARE YOU FEELING IT NOW MR KRABS

That 1 dislike is spongebob
The 2nd Was Patrick
Claudia Ch The third was Zeus
The 4th and 5th were Casey and Doug, respectively
the 6th dislike was a random fish from bikini bottom
the 7th was from Mr Krabs
the 8th was from Gary
the 9th dislike was from a random person from the internet (it wasent me -.-)

It’s impressive how many adjectives strider knows for “bad”
Like wretched, abysmal, ROTTEN
ugh, I hate The Splinter...Looking at the title card makes me sick...
Spongebob you're Fired is not frustrating, it's just really BORING
Pet Sitter Pat speaks for itself.
Demolition Doofus. The only thing I liked about the episode was the derby.
Stuck in the Wringer is just....awful.
One Coarse Meal is personally offensive to me. I used to be suicidal and this is just a horrible message to kids everywhere.
yeah spongebob is extremely offensive Kappa
......... I hate spongebob
crazychick96100 but do you feel better?
That’s offensive?
never thought i'd see somebody unironically say spongebob offended them
Thank God that Steven Hillenburg returned to the show. By the looks of it, the new season looks ok. Haven't watched but I just I'm not disappointed by it.
It's not bad
It take a look at it then
MrGatsu1998 it's ending 😭 The last episode is on the 20th 😰
EliteAthlete15 No. Season 10 and 11 will happen :) ;) =)!

This shows that kids shows have an affect on young kids and how they view certain things.
am I the only 1 who never knew the pirate was Tom Kenny?

Arianabutera Grande I didn't lol

I really hate the episode where Squidward reads Spongebob's diary. I think it was called "Little Yellow Book"
Ok! Ok! Yea me too it came on yesterday
Ok! Ok! That ones funny
Ok! Ok! It was also his biggest antagonism in the series.
For me, I liked that episode.
Yea it's in livestream
What about the episode "Are You Happy Now?" ?
That one is pretty depressing
^^^
Techno Ghoul I feel bad for squidward,
Now we all are feeling the pain that Spongebob were causing to our squidy fella
and the ending is kinda creepy
What's that one about?
Rainbow Dash Squidward doesn't have a happiest memory, so Spongebob tries to help him obtain one. However, it doesn't work and Squidward slips into a deep depression
spongebob has genuinely some of the most disturbing imagery i’ve ever seen in any show, let alone a kid’s show
The detailed images are just so needless
Coughs, Popee The Performer, coughs
*Ren and Stimpy and Courage would like to speak with you*
The happiest memory episode is one of the worst. Suicide jokes just seem depressingly out of place on a show like spongebob
Hot Cosby are you happy is what it's called.
Hot Cosby u.
+SirN000b me too but the one that was stuck in my mind was the krusty krabb pizza
Not really because Squidward always made suicide jokes, especially in the pre-movie episodes.
not really in the end squid ward got his happiest memory and it worked out between spongebob and squidward
my fav episode is the one where Sandy is hibernating (survival of the idiots)
alex palmer survival of the idiots is the episodes name
Adam Niccum thx
alex palmer me too
Alhassna Drammeh "no I'm dirty dan!" Lol😂

" That's it Gary, Attack Patrick "
XD lol I'm sorry, I thought this line was really funny.
ATTAAAAAACK!!!!
The old episodes to this day are hilarious. Whenever I'm channel surfing and see spongebob I always check to see if it's an old one. They're just too funny. The new episodes though, just... UGH. The closest thing I can compare the new episodes to is Chuck Jones Tom and Jerry.
Ludwig Van Beethoven ikr same here! I absolutely loved the old ones
Are you claiming that every modern Spongebob episode is bad and will always be bad?
Power of L A majority of them, yes.
Ludwig Van Beethoven what about season 4 and 5?
Oh god I hated chuck jones tom and jerry they both looked high and cried too much and the animation was horrid
6. Disturbing, especially when it grew that vein
5. Eh...
4. Definitely one of Patrick's worst moments, and it really plays out how terrible Spongebob's judgment is
3. While I can see why Mrs Puff despises Spongebob--especially in THIS episode where he injured her so badly that her trademark inflation was disabled--her attempts at his life are callous nonetheless
2. Spongebob had every right to be pissed at Pat for gluing him to the wringer
1. This deserves the #1 spot for sure. I mean, I'm sure many of us would like to get back at our enemies for the terrible things they do. And Plankton should've stayed in his lane regarding stealing the formula after "Plan Z" failed. But using one's phobia against them is the absolute dirtiest tactic , especially when you do it repeatedly until it scars them for life
Seasons 10 & 11 are getting better, and I have high hopes for season 12. Episodes like Unreal Estate are a prime example of this.
Thats why they brought the original creator back cuz this new one is retarded
Yes
feral friends is also good
4:27 Don't forget, Patrick once questioned there being fire under the sea...
What about the one where squidward stands on a stool and throws a rope up to the ceiling, hinting suicide. That shook me.
2 saddest spongebob episodes
When's the day come where a child tries to mimic that by hanging themselves or putting themselves in the oven and killing themselves?
Besides the suicide jokes and Squidward being a little too depressed, that episode was nowhere near as bad as One Coarse Meal, A Pal for Gary, or any of the other horrible episodes.
subs with no videos there was no noose, just a bird cage
Nugget Gamer:gameplays, tutoriais e mais hate that episode
Wait in one episode SpongeBob was able to take of his arm and regenerate it so in the splinter why didn't he take of his arm.
The Rose Grumps because then the episode would last only two minutes, not to mention that it wouldn’t have a plot at all
yeah you're right
That episode is called graveyard shift
The Rose Grumps and the fact that the writers suck at remembering continuity
yeah but wouldn't that be better than the crap they put out?
Crying does NOT solve your problems, SpongeBob.
Caleb Sawyer I am glad spongebob is happier in the new seasons
Actually it does
And saying this does NOT help you.
it was just a joke

I can’t find SpongeBob You’re Fired on Paramount Plus. Where else can I find it?
I hate the episode where the butterfly flies against the glass. I had nightmares when I was a kid, because of that
Habib Habibo that episode is called "Wormy" I enjoyed the first half. But the second half was kind of sucky
omg same
is it weird that i wasn't scared from the butterfly scene?
Emerald roblox and more No. I find it funny how they zoomed in, lol.
Emerald roblox and more its ok, people where overreacting.
season 4 was the transition. the creator left, and then all the writers left. the start of season 4 is just as good as the previous seasons, but by the end it was just as bad as everything that came after
Hillenburg never really left. And there were still some gems at the end of season 4
ehh...my least favorite was
"Are you happy now"
They weren't even trying to be subtle
Princess Glaceon Well yeah...but for some reason I sympathize a bit more with squidward. He's just always sad in every episode. And in That episode...it's just full on depression.
It just...gave the feeling of sadness a bit more than one course meal.
Princess Glaceon Sorry bout the bruise.
Anyhow....the main reason I don't like "Are you happy now"
Was it just highlights on how depressed squidward is. That's the main premise of the episode.
And then the suicide jokes.
It's just out of character for the show
But....a depressed Zim............I'd watch it
Josh Marowak you know that "Are you happy now" is almost exactly like that creepy pasta about squidward suicide
Princess Glaceon what? It could be a one course meal thing where he can be hunted by alien destroyers
Sorry for the cringe😅

yes!
Raven Gaines The graveyard shift was my favourite
Gigan75pcp yup i really miss the old one my favorite ones are the very first episode and the night shift and pizza delivery
season 1-3 the BEST seasons of Spongebob
Astride Games: The Night Shift made me afraid of the dark for a long time.
Gigan75pcp the creator is already back
Season 4 was really the last season to have any morals, and after season 5 the humor went to shit...
I hate how Spongebob is fired for a nickel by that krusty Krustation
You know, squidbob tentaclepants was actually a pretty funny episode. It could have EASILY been one of the best of Season 4 if it didn't have that UNNECESSARY ending thing
A recent episode from season 11 “Ink lemonade” would’ve been a contender for this list. Pure dim-wittedness from Patrick/Spongebob and Squidward torture porn.
It's the worst Episode of season 11 but the show has done so much worse

Bolbi145 and Ninja Turtles.
digifan02
With how well The Loud House is doing, and how much airtime it's getting, I don't think it's going anywhere.
loud house is really good, i hope they dont fuck it up.
But seriously I feel like Nickelodeon should make some kind of like adult network/oldie network that continues their favorite shows as a child. They clearly have enough money to do it, and they could earn a lot of money from doing that too. they have their cancerous network, and then they have this network.
i thought they cancelled that? or I must be mistaken.
How to make worst episode?
Torture Gary, no matter who you are.
Squidward (I Was A Teenage Gary)
Patrick (Pet Sitter Pat)
Even Spongebob himself (A Pal For Gary)
Yeah those characters should clean up their act.
Patrick didn’t do this stuff to Gary on purpose.
@@nickgadson266 I agree. Patrick doesn't really know any better.
@Jason Brown Yeah.
And Mr. Krabs (The Cent of Money)
I'm surprised Fungus Among Us wasn't on the list. That one is probably my least favorite. It's just downright disgusting and almost made me vomit, whereas an episode like The Splinter just made me a little uncomfortable.
Yes me to
Alex VanKirk wait until you watch Red Mist.
You. What is that?
Why the show that never aired because of its violence, but an intern put it on youtube. It was took off, but there is a remake, watch it. Red Mist.

I've seen bits of it. It's definitely fucked up.

I fear no man. But Patrick,he scares me.
i like how in old spongebob the jokes were all relatable when you rewatch it but now it's *UGH*
Dank Sponge
Old Spongebob is alwys funny!!
funny since there's an episode literally called ''ugh''
Dank Sponge Old spongebob is the best!

Matthew Mazzatto I agree.
I'd love to see what this list would look like now, I bet ink lemonade would be on it
It's Bad but the show has so much worse

Well that’s a very odd reference.
I'm sad that A Pal for Gary wasn't *actually* on the list. I do consider it the worst episode in Spongebob. Very sad tbh...though I understand why One Coarse Meal is on there as the #1
It's my most hated episode, but i do think all these episodes are terrible, and i can see the argument that "pet sitter pat" is worse.
I could see how all these episodes (except for The Splinter, and MAYBE Stuck in the Wringer) could be worse. I think Spongebob You're Fired and One Coarse Meal are tied for the worst.
My least favorite is probably none of them, of course there is weird and bad ones, but I love the show,
Worst Teen Titans Go will be hard to make
Mattman 850 Not really. Every episode is bad except for, "40%,40%, 20%" lol
Known As Alex I don't see why people like "40%, 40%, 20%." It wasn't horrible, but it still wasn't good imo.
Mergie Mergason I think people like it because, it shoes what potential Teen Titans Go could've had. Also, TNBS is a nice song
Known As Alex but what potential though? To me I just saw a decent premise with cheesy "action" scenes and a stupid ending.
Good thing the #1 choice is easy. That one episode where Beast Boy gets each and every one of the Titans killed in one sick prank, only for him to die as well. That's easily one of the most despicable things to ever be aired on CN ever.
This guy's accent makes this video hilarious. Especially at "one course meal"

Great list overall, but how did "To Love a Patty" miss the dishonorable mentions?
Velvet Zealot i know right that's the episode I will also remember it's so disturbing
I still remember the first time I saw Spongebob murder those scallops. I was in shock that he could bring himself to kill over a krabby patty. Then again it is Modern Spongebob where everyone seems to be a sociopath
there's a long list of episodes that could've been in the dis-honorable mentions.
I didn't like To Love a Patty either but it's sister episode I thought was great and many people hate it
The scariest spongebob episode was the Graveyard Shift
the hash slinging bash dinging crash binging slasher

BITCH I GO BY YOUNG CHIEF nah I Was A Teenage Gary & Squidbob Tentacle Pants was scarier

Most of the worst episodes basically come down to the fact that they are brutal, unrelenting displays of sadism and cruelty, usually focused on one particular character.
And, often times without any sort of story, moral, lesson, or resolution. Just pointless evil for 24 minutes straight
4:05 he said stupid with so much anger and other words😂😂
Steezy Sam read this right as he said "stupid" i'm dying 😂
I really didn't like the episode which spongebob turned into a snail like gary. I had repeated nightmares and I still feel creeped out whenever I see it.
Robert Desmond I love that episode
Robert Desmond I actually forgot about that episode. I don't remember my full reaction back when the episode came out, but I think I can just narrow it down to slight enjoyment. It didn't impact me as much as other episodes.
A Pal for Gary is my favorite horror episode of SpongeBob SquarePants, eh? Just like to watch Pumpkinhead eats Gary the Snail, and I watching The Last Man on Earth on TH-cam for next month on my all new Samsung Laptop, A'ight?
Robert Desmond That was one of my favorite episodes as a kid
I thought that episode was pretty funny, actually. It was definitely one of the weirdest and creepiest episodes from the first 3 seasons, so I can see why someone may not like it.
There is more than 6 bad episodes.

IdeaBox9000 Mr. Enter is awesome :) This was a good video too
and yet he is some how hated by everyone.
IdeaBox9000 yeah he's a troopee
Nylocke Dragon of the Cold Steel I don't care if Mr Enter is on the spectrum. He complains about the same things, got fans to bully the writers of the show (when he was trying to be an advocate for bullying,) and he just rants about bad things even when it's a good review. I tried to listen to his show but I honestly don't have the patience anymore.
It's not that people don't understand the fact of him being autistic. It's that no one knows jack shit about autistic people, and just assume it's okay to make fun of it. The logic of "We don''t know what it is, so let's just make fun of people who have it."
Now I'm curious about how a Pre-Movie Worst Episodes list would be like.

-The Secret Box

The one with Squidward totally being tortured by Spongebob- injured by him, sent to the hospital, injured while he hadn't even RECOVERED yet- was also pretty hard to watch.
My opinion for every episode:
6 - JEEBUS!!! I legitimally wanna puke...I feel illl...
5 - Ugh...the way they treat the unemployed...
4 - As if I didn't get enough reason to hate Patrick...
3 - I actually like this episode...tho I relate to it, I too hate Spongebob. (The character, not the series.)
2 - Read No.4.
1 - Dayum...I feel bad for Plankton, and Krabs is a complete JERK!!!
The episode where there is a walrus that doesnt allow people to go to his party because they arent the right colour is pretty racist...
I_Might_PvP how was it racist?
I_Might_PvP Are you sure it wasn't making the point that racism is bad?
Sun Bleached
I_Might_PvP That walrus... HE FRICKN' THREW BABYS IN A DUMPSTER BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT TAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favorite joke in the splinter is when Mr Krabs is smelling for money and sniffed a guy's back pocket and said these quarters smell sad you're not gonna use them to get a refill are you😂😂😂
Aw, too bad that joke’s in the most hated episode of mine , that sounds funny 😆 I couldn’t ever get past the first scene… too painful…
