I bought a Gibson j45 m single cutaway light cherry burst and it sounds beautiful and looks beautiful. Trying to find out more about it. It is 2019 but it might be limited edition. Is there anywhere I can find this out?
Considering the fact that those highly customised and ornamented guitars are priced from 15-20 grand I’d really have my issues doing anything else with them rather than watching them in a shelf. I’d be too afraid making dings and dongs on a guitar worth a Harley Davidson.The workhorse Gibson acoustics are those between 2-3 grand guitars and they are fun as well.
I bought a brand new 2022 Hummingbird original collection. Amazing but the hand engraved hand painted pickguard… the paint quickly disappeared from the bird and its beak within 3 months of playing. I look at it as if I just customized it a little more, but at the same time I was a little upset as it’s not mint anymore.
Who signed off on putting out a 9 minute long video without a single strum of the instruments? Where's the Agnesi tickle or something? a strum is worth a thousand specs.
@David Miorgan Hey Dipshit, Im telling you these are new 2020 Custom Shop Historic Collection models. "NEW" as in not previously released. So again there are not videos for all these guitars other than maybe 2 of the12. And yeah I hear a guitar being played in the background? is that one of the 12 of the series wise ass? Which one are we hearing? Because the video definetely didnt give that info either. But yeah I guess these are acoustic guitars and they all sound about the same right? They release 12 different models so guys like you can pick your favorite color i guess.

Yeah how ridiculous is it to expect anyone to demonstrate a new product they are introducing(Umm... Martin, Fender, Taylor and everyone else including "GIBSON" is doing this all the time!) But when there are dipshits like you who just get a hard on because the tuners move themselves I guess they dont need to. Theres a sucker born every day.

I have a 2010 Dove ..after 2 years the top turned a horrible shade of green running down the middle Gibson accused me of spilled acid? on it,,the guitar had never left my bedroom and was always in its case with a humidifier. I sent them pictures and all relevant details. We argued weeks. Gibson customer service treated me like crap I will never buy or recommend a Gibson again Hopefully next time they ho bankrupt its the endless
On the flip side I highly recommend Gibson. My Hummingbird is incredible.

I called Gibson Bozeman and duly noted of a factory defect. I will have it corrected. Gibson acknowledged their supplier has issues!
Despite not being an acoustic player, those guitars are gorgeous!

I sold my Gibson acoustic and bought a Collings acoustic and I haven't looked back. I hope that Gibson is getting better.

Collings build great guitars,. Few Martin guitars impress me. Gibson acoustic guitars float my pick. especially their custom shop stuff. Such is life.
