The base is missing too much, the Aspec and the Aspec advance is to “racer boy”. The advance has new rims for 22-24 so much nicer. The tech package is the sweet spot
Now driving my 5th leased RDX; 3 previous generation, two current. (After 2+ yrs. my dealer calls wanting my car; I get the deal I WANT and trade.) First 4 were one Tech and three Advance models; current is base (all 2 wheel drive) Biggest difference other than my REDUCED payments is the smoothness of ride and quietness of the current, '22 model. By far, loved the looks of the previous gen; all 3 were Kona brown w/parchment int. Yes, I understand the "move forward'" with styling, but just don't like it. Drive trains: really liked the 6 sp/6 gear and the current is fine also. Just returned from a trip...28-30 mpg keeping speed under (mostly) 75...but got the same mileage with the V6's! Spare tire??? must be a Canadian model.
I love remote and need to have it on every car I have. I don’t think it’s a big deal to not have it on the base because you can always step up to the advance pkg and get remote start.
That's what I don't understand abt honda. Their premium auto division doesn't have the touch screen technology while the inferior division offers that tech. Honda needs to shake up the team who is responsible for Acura

I prefer not having to touch my RDX screen. The high on the dash location, a placement I like, would be difficult to touch because of the distance to the driving position.

Remote start is really nice in wintertime to heat the vehicle as the engine warms up!!
Canadian here. I’d take heated steering wheel over remote start or heated seats any day.

all honda’s / acuras have the program for remote start. all you need to do is program a key with remote start and you’re good to go.
If you live in a hot or cold climate, remote start is nice to have…..

The rear cargo area floor opens up more. There’s the tools and another cubby.
Had remote start on last car...used it sporadically. I am sure it's great in cold climes.
The shifter is so bad that it's a deal breaker for me.

Otherwise, it seems okay.
You can add the remote start as an accessory and also add the rear usbs as an accessory
