Ending Kakashi’s story here wouldve been a bold move. But the more I think about would it have been a terrible decision? Sure set pieces like obitos reveal would fall flat and the fight with obito. Actually never mind I typed this out and realized it would’ve been stupid.
Ending Naruto at Pain arc could be a thing. No ressurection, no Obito story. Naruto become a Hero, surpassing Kakashi and Jiraya, his two teachers who meet their end at the hand of his ennemy, finally recognized by the village who hated him. Sasuke is now a rogue ninja but had his revenge and maybe know the true about Itachi, he decide to stay away from the Village who betrayed his brother and decide to travel to found his new purpose in this world. Sakura stayed the same as in boruto, but even with Naruto help, never found Sasuke again.

@@eternaldestiny5232 The Sasuke plot would be left unresolved. As good as it was, Pain arc was still only 60 or chapters give or take. Ending it here would be bad decision. 5 Kage summit was a great arc too imo, especially regarding the character development it gave the main cast.
