I'd like to point out that he has sharp fingers and elbow blades. A characteristic of both his most hated people in his story. Fantastic design all around but those two parts specifically feel like as if yuji is quite literally taking the shape of what has brought him the most pain and pushes against what he hates most.
Another thing about his elbow blades, they seem distinctly different. At least ever so slightly. Maybe a manifestation of cleave and dismantle? Those two attacks arent very different, they just effect different targets. Maybe yuji can somehow manifest this physically, and if thats the case he technically could learn the warp slash.

Maybe not his own technique, but his gauntlets seem “technique proof”. Two times in the recent chapters have the gauntlets been completely unaffected by sukunas technique. First a dismantle was thrown at him, and the gauntlets took it like nothing but everywhere else Yujis body got sliced. Then sukuna grabbed both Yujis arm and Chest and did cleave, yet only his chest got hurt.
Yuji was able to see souls before he was a sorcerer. If I remember correctly he recognized his middle-grade friend from her soul. Yuji with full mastered soul manipulation technique would be crazy.

Sukuna, the chef, has gorged himself and has access to a ton, because of this, he has knowledge of the soul and he CT fundamentally deeper than anybody else. Not possible. Domain expansions are the physical manifestation of one's innate domain and curse technique. You cannot use Domain Expansion without a curse technique and shape it with binding vows like that, this ain't as flexible as HxH.
You know the hint or time Yuji hit a black flash was when he fought that special grade at the detention centre. Even his cursed energy was red in that moment. So Todo made Yuji more aware of black flash. He is blessed by the sparks of black thus natural for him. He landed it already before Todo taught him in my opinion.
This is one thing I’ve always wondered. To me it just seemed like it was for aesthetics reason and that’s prolly one of the first time Yuji’s used cursed energy so for the animators, it made sense to put the colour of red as his cursed energy colour cus he’s the protag and the protag is usually connected to red for the colour of determination. Ngl I would’ve loved it if each character’s cursed energy colour was different cus Yuta’s cursed energy was pink as well and fhe cursed spirits had a diff colour too.
4:12 also remember that in a interview like cutscene our goat Nanami said that the record for Black Flashes done by a single person was held by him at doing four of them, Yuji literally said "Hold my Root Beer" and not only outdid Nanami and possibly Gojo, but has made Black Flash a staple/signature move. Nanami stated that he held the record for black flashes performed in a row. Not in general. Yuji has tied his record, not surpassed it. Yuji may have hit more black flashes in general at this point. But the record is still at 4 in a row.
I think Yuji's CT is 100% soul-related. It'd explain why Sukuna couldn't take over Yuji's body. With the whole Soul Body philosophy and Yuji being able to beat Mahito despite being at a low percentage soul wise then maybe his strong soul is what gives him a strong body. The soul swapping might be an application of his soul CT and not the technique itself. Then merging of his soulSukuna's shrine might be what leads to him gaining the abilities of the things he consumes ie: blood manipulation

I think the soul swapping part is more of like a thing he can do when he first learned his technique. Maybe it is because of the soul suppressing thing with sukuna which taught him how to use it but it isn't the primary ability. the primary ability is soul related and I feel like the soul swapping thing is only a very very early blueprint of what he can do once he masters the soul.
My ULTIMATE JJK THEORY: Yuji will swap souls with Megumi. Megumi will get Yuji's body, and Yuji will get Megumi's. With Yuji once again sharing a body with Sukuna, he will once again suppress Sukuna, and kill himself, with Sukuna unable to do anything but watch from inside the body he stole to escape from Yuji in the first place.

I kinda speculate Yuji's taking notes of certain techniques of people he's faced. Blood Manipulation from Choso, specifically Red Scale, and Soul transfiguration and manipulation from Mahito, hence why his arms have changed, and what rocked Sukuna from the punch was Yuji striking Sukuna's soul. I always thought that it was impossible to combine Divergent Fist and Black Flash since the cursed energy required for both travel at vastly different speeds.
I think it might be a kind of curse absorption technique cuz if you think about it he ate his other sibling the death painting and got stronger from them so he may have also gotten different abilities from their potential techniques giving him different techniques that have nothing to do with eachother
My theory is that Yuji has some variation of soul manipulation. Going back to the "i am you" From the beginning Mahito mentions yuji knows the shape of his soul and so is immune to his ability and can even hurt mahito by attacking his soul. My bet is Yuji has a soul manipulation technique that can attack a person's soul directly, and control his own soul to do things like body swapping or just bust through defenses using a soul attack with black flash. Combined with black flash and divergent fist and Yuji could land a number of blows on an enemy hurting them physically before all at once the enemy gets hit with a dozen blackflahses to the soul.

So Itadori will not only have whatever technique Gege is cooking up but also Dismantle and Cleave.

Honestly, I feel like the plan for Yuji defeating Sukuna in a non-BS way is by him simply using RCT with his siblings CT. He would be the anti-venom of his verse, and Sukuna’s entire body is a special-grade poison, so it sounds like he could still be a hand-to-hand fighter, but his very touch is deadly toward curses.
I think the way for Yuji to beat Sukuna is to destroy Sukuna's soul, if Yuji has soul swapping, this makes sense as Yuji might be able to forcefully enter Sukuna's innate domain to wake up Megumi and have Megumi fight Sukuna at the source, so rhe rivalry between Yuji and Sukuna can end where it began, within Sukuna's soul

Yuji IS using black flash at will. In the sense that, when he needs to hit it, and knows he needs to hit it, he just does. Against mahito he literally did do it at will. He even fainted his black flash. Switched the hands he was going to use on the fly. Thats ar will. He may not be able to casually use it, but when hes "in the zone" he can do so at will. Kinda like in esrly Naruto where when pushed and when he absolutely needed to, hed put up 100, 1000x more clones than usual. So still, at will, even if he doesn't have perfect casual control. Those things on his arms are definitely a PART of his arms as well. You can tell by the fingers and the nails. Those are his real hands.

My guess would be that yuji would get a cursed technique similar to boogie woogie in terms of how it would be used, that it is used to trip up your opponent more than as the main source of damage. I think body swap would be a good candidate because of this, as even if he can only swap for a tiny bit of time with people more powerful than him, that time may be enough to throw them off and let him or someone else land a clean hit. He could also swap with someone, kill himself and then swap back before he dies. Imagining the cold stare from yuji as he stares down his opponent in their own body, bleeding out, as the opponent sits helpless to stop him. That sounds like the sorta shit gege would write.
A divergent fist cannot be a black flash. The two techniques inherently contradict one another. Black flash is hitting an opponent and transferring cursed energy to hit them within a very short period of time. Meanwhile divergent fist lets you hit the opponent, and then a second impact comes much later. A divergent black flash cannot simply even happen.
By the way, you should be careful setting such unrealistic sub goals. People feel more motivated to help when the goals feels attainable. 30k by the end of the month is pie in the sky crazy person land levels of expectations
What if Yuji's divergent fist can be delayed and triggered at will? He could accumulate his cursed energy inside an opponent with several attacks, then detonate it for big damage.
What if the reason for Sukuna's weird extra powers and knowledge is because he partitioned his brain or some self modification other than the four arm form Maybe Yuji is learning to separate information and multitask his movements, Energy management and techniques
I have a crackpot theory that Yuji is like a perfected combination of a cursed womb/object and a cursed Corpse. The cursed womb aspect is clear through his connections to the death paintings and Sukuna, and something Higuruma said during his fight with Yuji caught my attention. He said Yuji was like an indestructible doll. I don’t have any major evidence for this idea but it would make sense if Yuji was a cursed corpse designed to have his primary core of cursed energy be the one maintaining his own personality and will, making him a perfect vessel. The references to his past from Sukuna could indicate that he has another core from a sorcerer or curse from “back then” that awakened after Sukuna took over Megumi and Yuji cracked the shits. That much negative emotion would be more than enough to finally awaken a dormant core. Something abt Yuji is ancient but what specifically is the real question. The main part of my theory is that his main power is to be able to incorporate CE cores into himself, either by consuming a cursed womb, or even exchanging soul information to “swap” bodies to learn the jujutsu of the one he switched with and incorporate it into his own blank slate of a soul. Him having multiple CE cores makes his physicality make perfect sense. He can’t die if his cores aren’t all destroyed and since he can literally just replace a lost one with a new one, he wasn’t ever truly at risk of death. Even when he was dead. In short, I think Yuji isn’t even human, and is like a hybrid of a Death painting, a Panda type cursed corpse, and a true cursed object, abusing the inherent properties of each to bypass the innate technique limitations and other limits to how strong a sorcerer can be. By either munching on cursed womb or reading the soul of another, he gains extra knowledge of jujutsu and other abilities, meaning he could have learned new shadow style from kusakabe, RCT from Yuta and how to use blood manipulation from Kamo both from practice and switching with these characters to let his soul understand their CE flow and CT utilization. It’s possible any ability he gets would be treated like The unblockable drumming beat. Not a cursed technique or CE trait, just an ability gained from a CE core. He may be able to use a LOT of techniques in this way to completely nullify the 3-4 technique cap and rapidly master all new abilities. Idk I’m probably crazy off but it would be kinda dope if this was the case tbh

Divergent black flash is an oxymoron. think about the principles behind both techniques. black flash is predicated on perfect timing/control of CE and Divergent Fist is the lack of control of CE.
What if yujis cursed technique just boosts his punch power and makes his punches do damage internally kinda like haki in one piece. I also think his domain is going to be a boxing ring or arena where his opponents cursed energy gets taken away and they have to use their fists. It would also be cool if yuji was able to hit infinite black flashes in succesoin where they stack up like a combo meter and the higher it is the more damage he does and if he misses his punch or doesnt attack enough his combo meter goes down and his domain can break.

Interesting video, a nice recap of all the hints of Itadori's true technique. I needed that because Gege is good only in vomiting at you tons of information and exposition but really REALLY bad at visually or emotionally conveying them. It's truly sad that, other than giving hints, Gege hadn't made Yuji's character progress nowhere after Shibuya. Itadori has been completely flat for the entirety of the Culling Game (just like every other character) and only now that he is ending the series Gege is starting to improve on that, just a little though. Let's not forget also the power to give false memories that hasn't been explained at all, as well as all the mysteries about Kenjaku that haven't been explained at all and now that he's most likely totally dead it's all pointless. Thank you Gege for your incredible talent of wasting characters, your confusing writing style and occasionally being a decent mangaka.
The false memory thing was explained to not be anything to do with a CT. So basically Todo is mentally ill and Choso got those memories as a result of actually being Yujis brother

Yeah it's true that Choso is related to Yuji but I don't think that's enough to explain this thing. I could agree with your point regarding Todo simply because he is kinda retarded, but it's a bit too much for Choso. You might also remember that Sukuna seemed to have done the same thing with Jogo right after killing him, giving him memories of being with Hanami and the others while actually he was literally burning to death. It might be some hidden ability that Itadori inherited from Sukuna being his vessel or something, I dunno what the hell Gege has in his mind with all these hints and unsolved mysteries.
Great video! Theoretical without trying to impose one's own belief as some sort of guarantee like a lot of the TH-cam suggested videos tend to do. Gege has gone against the grain with a number of the characters and storytelling traditions so while speculating is fun it should always be taken with a grain of salt with regards to what could come next. Yuji's the main character for a reason and people are quick to ride the band wagon with regards to certain things. Yuji's cool because despite how human and open he is he's probably as much of a mystery to himself as everyone else from the cast of characters (minus Kenjaku and Gege of course) as much as the reader base.

Yuji Itadori's GreatestCursed Technique is not permanently dying in an anime where characters are introduced just to be killed off and its called Plot Armor.
Sukuna confirmed his technique isn't cleve and dismantle. My headcanon is that it is probably shrine, which allows him to store multiple types of techniques.
A whole manga's worth of build up, with possible hints but never anything concrete, always something murky. Whatever final Yuji ends up being, it better be worth the 200+ chapters worth of mystery.
I feel like this manga is going to end with the situation looking bad and then Yuji, in an act of desperation and with many/most of his friends dead, has another mental breakdown but channels it into his techniques and hits Sukuna with an absolutely giant world-rending cleave just like Sukuna used to kill Gojo. Which fulfills the promise made all the way back in Chapter 10.

You know the hint or time Yuji hit a black flash was when he fought that special grade at the detention centre. Even his cursed energy was red in that moment. So Todo made Yuji more aware of black flash. He is blessed by the sparks of black thus natural for him. He landed it already before Todo taught him in my opinion.

To me it just seemed like it was for aesthetics reason and that’s prolly one of the first time Yuji’s used cursed energy so for the animators, it made sense to put the colour of red as his cursed energy colour cus he’s the protag and the protag is usually connected to red for the colour of determination. I think the soul swapping part is more of like a thing he can do when he first learned his technique. Maybe it is because of the soul suppressing thing with sukuna which taught him how to use it but it isn't the primary ability. the primary ability is soul related and I feel like the soul swapping thing is only a very very early blueprint of what he can do once he masters the soul.

My ULTIMATE JJK THEORY: Yuji will swap souls with Megumi. Megumi will get Yuji's body, and Yuji will get Megumi's. With Yuji once again sharing a body with Sukuna, he will once again suppress Sukuna, and kill himself, with Sukuna unable to do anything but watch from inside the body he stole to escape from Yuji in the first place.

My bet is Yuji has a soul manipulation technique that can attack a person's soul directly, and control his own soul to do things like body swapping or just bust through defenses using a soul attack with black flash.
Combined with black flash and divergent fist and Yuji could land a number of blows on an enemy hurting them physically before all at once the enemy gets hit with a dozen blackflahses to the soul.

Itadori did tank dismantle and cleave, so this leads me to believe that he did infact absorve Sukuna's technique, since it was stated that the damage a sorcerer takes from it's own technique is reduced. So Itadori will not only have whatever technique Gege is cooking up but also Dismantle and Cleave.

Honestly, I feel like the plan for Yuji defeating Sukuna in a non-BS way is by him simply using RCT with his siblings CT. He would be the anti-venom of his verse, and Sukuna’s entire body is a special-grade poison, so it sounds like he could still be a hand-to-hand fighter, but his very touch is deadly toward curses.
I think the way for Yuji to beat Sukuna is to destroy Sukuna's soul, if Yuji has soul swapping, this makes sense as Yuji might be able to forcefully enter Sukuna's innate domain to wake up Megumi and have Megumi fight Sukuna at the source, so rhe rivalry between Yuji and Sukuna can end where it began, within Sukuna's soul

My guess would be that yuji would get a cursed technique similar to boogie woogie in terms of how it would be used, that it is used to trip up your opponent more than as the main source of damage. I think body swap would be a good candidate because of this, as even if he can only swap for a tiny bit of time with people more powerful than him, that time may be enough to throw them off and let him or someone else land a clean hit.
He could also swap with someone, kill himself and then swap back before he dies. Imagining the cold stare from yuji as he stares down his opponent in their own body, bleeding out, as the opponent sits helpless to stop him. That sounds like the sorta shit gege would write.
A divergent fist cannot be a black flash. The two techniques inherently contradict one another. Black flash is hitting an opponent and transferring cursed energy to hit them within a very short period of time. Meanwhile divergent fist lets you hit the opponent, and then a second impact comes much later.
A divergent black flash cannot simply even happen.
By the way, you should be careful setting such unrealistic sub goals. People feel more motivated to help when the goals feels attainable. 30k by the end of the month is pie in the sky crazy person land levels of expectations
What if Yuji's divergent fist can be delayed and triggered at will? He could accumulate his cursed energy inside an opponent with several attacks, then detonate it for big damage.

I have a crackpot theory that Yuji is like a perfected combination of a cursed womb/object and a cursed Corpse. The cursed womb aspect is clear through his connections to the death paintings and Sukuna, and something Higuruma said during his fight with Yuji caught my attention. He said Yuji was like an indestructible doll. I don’t have any major evidence for this idea but it would make sense if Yuji was a cursed corpse designed to have his primary core of cursed energy be the one maintaining his own personality and will, making him a perfect vessel.
The references to his past from Sukuna could indicate that he has another core from a sorcerer or curse from “back then” that awakened after Sukuna took over Megumi and Yuji cracked the shits. That much negative emotion would be more than enough to finally awaken a dormant core. Something abt Yuji is ancient but what specifically is the real question.
The main part of my theory is that his main power is to be able to incorporate CE cores into himself, either by consuming a cursed womb, or even exchanging soul information to “swap” bodies to learn the jujutsu of the one he switched with and incorporate it into his own blank slate of a soul. Him having multiple CE cores makes his physicality make perfect sense. He can’t die if his cores aren’t all destroyed and since he can literally just replace a lost one with a new one, he wasn’t ever truly at risk of death. Even when he was dead.
In short, I think Yuji isn’t even human, and is like a hybrid of a Death painting, a Panda type cursed corpse, and a true cursed object, abusing the inherent properties of each to bypass the innate technique limitations and other limits to how strong a sorcerer can be. By either munching on cursed womb or reading the soul of another, he gains extra knowledge of jujutsu and other abilities, meaning he could have learned new shadow style from kusakabe, RCT from Yuta and how to use blood manipulation from Kamo both from practice and switching with these characters to let his soul understand their CE flow and CT utilization. It’s possible any ability he gets would be treated like The unblockable drumming beat. Not a cursed technique or CE trait, just an ability gained from a CE core. He may be able to use a LOT of techniques in this way to completely nullify the 3-4 technique cap and rapidly master all new abilities.

What if yujis cursed technique just boosts his punch power and makes his punches do damage internally kinda like haki in one piece. I also think his domain is going to be a boxing ring or arena where his opponents cursed energy gets taken away and they have to use their fists. It would also be cool if yuji was able to hit infinite black flashes in succesoin where they stack up like a combo meter and the higher it is the more damage he does and if he misses his punch or doesnt attack enough his combo meter goes down and his domain can break.

Interesting video, a nice recap of all the hints of Itadori's true technique. I needed that because Gege is good only in vomiting at you tons of information and exposition but really REALLY bad at visually or emotionally conveying them.
It's truly sad that, other than giving hints, Gege hadn't made Yuji's character progress nowhere after Shibuya. Itadori has been completely flat for the entirety of the Culling Game (just like every other character) and only now that he is ending the series Gege is starting to improve on that, just a little though.
Let's not forget also the power to give false memories that hasn't been explained at all, as well as all the mysteries about Kenjaku that haven't been explained at all and now that he's most likely totally dead it's all pointless.

The false memory thing was explained to not be anything to do with a CT. So basically Todo is mentally ill and Choso got those memories as a result of actually being Yujis brother

Gege has gone against the grain with a number of the characters and storytelling traditions so while speculating is fun it should always be taken with a grain of salt with regards to what could come next.
Yuji's the main character for a reason and people are quick to ride the band wagon with regards to certain things. Yuji's cool because despite how human and open he is he's probably as much of a mystery to himself as everyone else from the cast of characters (minus Kenjaku and Gege of course) as much as the reader base.

I feel like this manga is going to end with the situation looking bad and then Yuji, in an act of desperation and with many/most of his friends dead, has another mental breakdown but channels it into his techniques and hits Sukuna with an absolutely giant world-rending cleave just like Sukuna used to kill Gojo. Which fulfills the promise made all the way back in Chapter 10.
I don't think Yuji can use Sukuna's CT because if Yuji hasn't used it yet he can't use it. Gojo was wrong
