Another fun ink exploration. Thank you. I loved Jane Eyre when I read it as a young adult, but when I tried to reread it recently, I couldn't handle the rough parts, and stopped reading it. I'm a wimp now. A book I loved though, and wonder if you know it, is the graphic novel, Jane, the Fox, and Me. The art is beautiful.
Thank you for this! It’s so nice to see these next to each other. Through the camera I can see that the Bermingham and the Wearinguel inks look very similar. Awesome video! ❤️🙏
You are so right!! I went back and looked and they are very close. Jane Eyre is a little cooler, and Armadillo is a little more pink but still super close!
oh wow! i don't even know how to chose a favourite ;; i never thought i would be into purple inks when i started with inks and fountain pens but they're really some of my favourites! also your pronunciation of kyokkou was great!!
Thank you!!! I have been trying to work on my pronunciation!! Purples are SO much fun to write with! I feel like they can come off blue or pink depending on the paper sometimes too. I actually tallied up all of my inks and I have the most purple 😂 which kind of surprised me.
Could be the paper! The Tomoe River Paper doesn't absorb the ink the same as paper like Rhodia, or Midori. Also the color of the paper (white vs cream) can change the ink color!
I would say it fits perfectly haha. I think it is really close to Sailor Manyo Nekoyanagi actually just without the blue and a little more pink. It's a brighter light purple. I love it!
Are any of those waterproof? I’m slowly switching out to all waterproof after two many accidents. I bought the Fog Grey you demonstrated the other day. It’s been renamed Blue Gray but I think your name for it - Storm Gray - is apt.
I don't believe any of these are waterproof unfortunately. Check out Miss Marilyn Darling's channel! They do individual inks with chromatography and other ink properties!
My favourite colour 🥰💜 I'm rewatching all your ink videos and have compiled a list of inks I'd like to buy. Silor Fuji was my favourite from this batch (just have to wait until spring when I can get inks shipped to me again (they won't ship if there is a risk of the ink freezing 🫣)
Wonderful! I know that with freezing temps the glass bottles of ink do risk breaking due to the ink expanding (it is water based). I like to think of what an ink icicle would look like 😂
Man I need this whole spread
hehehe it is so dreamy 🥰
The armadillo color is so pretty 😯 i want to get blushing mushroom so badly
Armadillo is so fun! I love how it shades honestly. The Blushing Mushroom is so fun too!!
Just watched this whole series playlist, it is wonderful. ❤ thank you soooo much for doing it.
You're so welcome! Thank you for watching! 💝💝
Oof
sailor beautiful inks never fails to impress 👏
I really appreciate these ink exploration videos. Beautiful and very helpful.
Glad you like them! They are very fun to make 💝
ohhhh, this was so fun! Other inks that I love are Sailor Yurameku "Yoi" and Rohrer & Klingner's "Eisen-Gallus-Tinte Scabiosa"
Yoi is a gorgeous purple color! I haven't tried the R&K you mentioned but I'm going to check it out. Thank you for sharing :)

I will have to look into that graphic novel! The book definitely has a different meaning for me now. I find something different every time I read it 💝

I love shimmer inks! Show us more! 🤪 Don't ever apologise for the shimmer inks! 😛
Hahah glad to see another shimmer lover!! I think they are so fun to use!

Love your swatches. Beautiful inks. Just wonder why my Sailor Fuji is WAY darker than this. Looks completely different. Maybe to do with the paper???

How do you think the new inkvent Jacaranda fits in with this bunch?
I would say it fits perfectly haha. I think it is really close to Sailor Manyo Nekoyanagi actually just without the blue and a little more pink. It's a brighter light purple. I love it!
Do you have FWP madame mulberry? I think it would fit with this collection 🙂
I do! I actually include it more of the grey colors. But it has a purpleness too it!

Would it shimmer and sparkle? ✨️🤔
