Thank you for this I have been studying the Trivium/Quadrivium and am looking for any knowledge I can get to understand this methodology to help me in my experience in reality. I am sick of thinking as they taught us in school if you can even call that "thinking". This really expanded on the steps further, and your rhetoric and choice of words opened me up to understand this a lot better. It is a shame this is not well known in this day in age it really should be one of the first things you should learn. Period. I guess that is by design though but you seek and you shall find.

@@suburbanhomesteadoutfitter4135 your exposition, outline on the quadrivium and critical thinking is very concise. What source material have you read that helped you so clearly speak on the topic? In all my searching, I’ve never seen the definitions broken down into primary and secondary; it’s the most helpful outline I’ve ever seen on the subject!

I was talking with someone the other day and he said "I only see things in black and white "!!. I'm thinking, EVERYTHING isn't just black and white. There is always some "grey area " . And I really believe this thought process that the gentleman uses totally explained the issues we have when we communicate!

It may seem gullible to analyze someone in less than 9 minutes... but I swear, the purity, intellect and just strength of this guy (strength being defined in every way possible) is flooding off the screen into me. I can say I love this man, and KNOW he is what he appears. And the therapeutic effect I receive from hearing these hardcore truths... it's just beyond healing. The very first 19 seconds was an ABSOLUTE mic drop, let alone the rest. Every person out there, which is just going right along with "whatever"... their lack of these components and methodology is BLINDINGLY apparent. PLUS, somethin tells me this gentleman has not piled on board the mindset that the left is there to really help him and free him... and that he needs to get out there and take a shot. PS: also, i'd wager he concludes that the left vs right paradigm is a mirage.

Great content and presentation... well done.
I have been using trivium for some time and i feel it's the ultimate way to protect yourself from liars and deceivers.. The IRONY of your presentation is you are a planet believer... using the trivium correctly will break apart the heliocentric model in every sense of the word.. however looks like it hasn't helped you see through the B.S kind sir...
The teacher that needs to be taught

I can't see the trivium working for skills. Neither for learning a subject, as there is no need for the logic step in the accumulation of knowledge. I think it would work if you want to make up your mind about a controversial issue, but you need to be careful about which sources you trust and also be able to find them in the grammar step. It would help if you can provide an example of the trivium being used in practice because I can only find the theories of it.

To learn something you need to understand it. That requires logic.

Real knowledge is ONLY logically assembled relevant subject matter data free of contradiction and reliance on logical fallacy.. The truth is that many things aren't complety knowable, so you have to rely on your judgment. According to lore, the Oracle of Delphi crowned Socrates the Wisest Man in Greece, NOT because he knew more than others, but because he knew that which he did not know! Like in Socrates' day, much of what people think they know today can't be known by them! They just blindly believe the Establishment, Inc. Narrative fed to them, gobemouche style. The Trivium skill set frees your mind from such abuse, but don't expect your life to become simplified. Rather, expect the complexities of life to, well, "come to life!"
