i may end up doing this, i grabbed a cluster with trans temp thats supposedly plug and play and is i guess but my trans gauge doesn't work idk if its something with the 80e swap or just the cluster itself, i can read the temp in hptuners though so i know that works
Did this exactly step by step to my 2002 turbo silverado. Worked great. However, on a cold start the gauge reads around 120 degrees. I don’t understand how the tranny fluid could be 120 as soon as it starts after the truck has sat for a day ? What does your trans gauge read on a cold start

Also. How many qts of fluid did your 4l80e take with trans cooler and aftermarket converter?
Does any gauge work for this? What’s the part number for your aem?
Would this work for a 4l60e ?
