I sleep in a totally dark room but, since I need to go pee during the night, I have yellow lights that are movement sensitive place along the path to the toilet. The lights are along the floor so they don't really strike my eyes. This has been a life-changer and I hope you can recommend this to your views. It's amazing how well it helps to get through the night...

Yes, motion-sensitive night light is a great solution in that it’s not constantly on to interrupt the quality of our sleep, yet it turns on when you need it to navigate in the middle of the night. Thanks for sharing the tip!

I guess it would be fine using the motion night light? It turns on only when it detect a movement like when we step off the bed in the middle of the night. Also we leave our hall way's light on when our baby is sleeping, so some lights do get in to his room from the door (we don't shut his door completely). We will only shut all the lights when we also goes to sleep which is few hours later than our baby. Do you think it's fine?

I use motion-sensitive night lights in my house too! As long as it’s not triggered by you simply moving in bed, you should be fine. Leaving the hallway light on and a crack of the baby bedroom door open is a great way to not let too much light into the room while your baby is sleeping, yet being able to control just the right amount of light you need to change a diaper or check on the baby if you have to. Thanks for sharing the tip!
