Bought these and the new pulse elite headset. After trying both out and loving both of them, I'll probably be going with the explore because of the portability and comfort with my psvr2. I don't think you can lose either way. I know people are complaining about the price, but to have planar technology in an earbud that sounds this amazing is fire. I was truly lucky and got mine online from someone selling them brand new in box for $120, so for me they were definitely worth that price.
Earbuds for gaming at home make sense to me due to I have very thick hair and absolutely no over ear headphones can’t cover my ears fully the price is very steep but I do enjoy mine a lot
I’m using them with the psvr2. The range is kinda poor, I had to use a usb cable extender. And because it’s usb-A, and my extender is usb-C, I need to also use an adapter. They are a bit uncomfortable, wish they were a tiny bit smaller. They sound great though. I’ve seen people complain about a lack of bass, but I disagree. Playing RE4Remake, they sound fantastic. Longest I’ve used them in a session is around 2h30min, but that’s more because the vr2 headset was getting too uncomfortable for me. I do always feel a relief when I take them out, because these sit tight in the ear.
I got them, they constantly disconnect and reconnect and none of the bud sizes create a good enough seal to provide any bass. I guess your mileage will vary but the Amazon reviews are bad.
I feel like these really lack volume, especially noticeable when connected to my phone. Took them with me to work and they struggled on my commute. Lack of anc didn’t help with this as well. As far as gaming on my portal they do sound very detailed, I can hear everything. The only reason I’m keeping them is because I “need” a wireless set for using my portal. Not worth the price for me though…
This is for gaming bud , You don't see nobody with a gaming headset on the street . And if it doesn't have waterproof (You don't need that for gaming) it will broke very quickly on the street.
I feel for the portal (and gaming in general), going with some wired IEMs might be a good option. You can get great sound from a $50 pair and the portal has an audio jack. It’s nice to carry it in my pocket/bag and then plug them into my handheld or my dualsense controller for gaming.
@@Thorfinn00_ sorry bud but these are earbuds and and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the people that expected these to to be a well more rounded product for its price.
