I own a 450S for 6 months. Here are my takeaways 1. I could get same range using Eco or Sport mode. It shows 76km on full charge in any mode. The trick is to use part throttle and whenever needed I use full. 2. Using eco mode always is like buying a 300cc bike and simulating a 100cc bike. That’s how it feels. You’re riding in eco mode and there’s an opportunity for quick overtake and you open full throttle and nothing happens. That’s why I ride always in sport mode. I can ride like Eco in Sport mode but I cant ride like sport in eco mode. 3. My daily commute is 20km. Real world range is 76km. So, no matter what, I have to charge every 4th day. If I drive very conservatively I’d be left with 15km of range. If I ride pretty aggressively like full throttle whenever road is clear I’d be left with 7-10km. (The acceleration is just so addictive and that’s the best part of owning an electric. Why compromise!) So I don't really see a point driving this in eco mode. Even in Sport mode it will be more energy efficient than any 100cc bike.
I am using ather rizta s 2.9kwh and went up to 77km/hr speed without pillion after 1000-1500 km , when I purchase the rizta I was disappointed on its acceleration in s eco mode it would hardly reach 50km/hr but after 700-1000km automatically the acceleration increased and now I am happy with with rizta and it range didn't decreased I would get 97-100km of range with good speed(50-60km/hr) and good acceleration I would tell that one who purchased new rizta wait till 1000km to get good acceleration One thing I do to get good acceleration is to shut down and start again it would take 1%of battery so I would shut it down in night and start in the morning
Same is the issue with smart eco on the 450x. I have never got an actual range of over 80kms on a full charge for a 3.7kWh battery scooter. No matter what ride mode you use
I got one a few months back and am very happy with it. Very powerful when I need it to be, and gives 95km range in ride mode(between eco and rush mode). Suspension is a bit hard without pillion though
@eveninall yes took a short test drive yesterday. Today they gave permission for long ride so will ride around 70 and 80 km. 99.99% I would go with indie even though I still did not do test drive. The space comfort of scooter is almost like a touring bike which I am sold. Only biggest con is still no fast charging grids and will easily take another 2 or 3 years
@@roninr8199 yes if it is space and practicality you want then it is good. However i'd add one another big con, that it is an up and coming brand, still not mature and robust as aether. From what I know they are in it for the long run. One has to place their trust in early stage start ups...
That mode switch is so poor. Really cheap quality. But shumi won't criticize since it's an Ather. Only schumi knows the reason. No dig at Ola in this video btw? Surprised.

Smart eco suits the traffic and most of the time its enough acceleration inside city!! (Except flyovers)
I'm using 2.9 rizta in bglore

Motor is one of the main reasons for me to consider river indie.

Give details about BE6 ev car
Is it possible to be fix by a firmware update?
Smart eco is not smooth at all!
Smooth as in what sense? Is it jerky at times?
@@jenilsoni9519it’s like something holding while accelerated
It's a family scooter 😂
and that is a great thing.
Doesn't mean you push and go 😂
Just joking with pillion in eco mode easily it climbs flyover
I'm using 2.9 rizta it gives 90 to 100 range in reality!!
The dashboard shows 100 and it never showed over 100
Same here...dashboard shows & Showroom guys said its range is 100..not sure how this guy is saying 123km range!

Smart eco is a scam
