Greentext \tg\ , what does it mean?

A popular device used for quotation and storytelling.
This began on the *chan imageboards, where quoting text places a Less or Greater than symbol in front of it, turning it green. This effect can also be done manually. Before long, this feature was put to innovative use. When quoting another post, greentext is frequently used for summary, criticism, and ridicule. Its other major use is storytelling, in which a lengthy story is told through fragmentary statements in greentext.
Greentext became highly popular for both of these functions due to its convenience. When quoting a post, it is easier to summarize than to respond in full. When telling a story, stringing together sentence fragments is a grammatically easier alternative to prose composition (it also makes for lighter reading).
This feature has become so widespread that it is sometimes used outside of imageboards (eg TH-cam comments).

I can imagine the council, after being a bit terrified about this new race exploding into the galaxy, finally getting a video transmission hailing to them and they being to compose themselves, ready to explain how the kidnapping was due to a rouge scientist that had no affiliation with them, only to be shocked by seeing one of the same humans they talked down to about 8 years ago and the first thing he says is “Where is my Bike!? What did you do with it, I want it back.”
i would be ready to die if there is a follow up with that in it

Considering the Lord of the Rings and Star Trek references it wouldn't surprise me to find put their dad was a fan of Star Wars and adapted some of the philosophy for himself.

You should read 'Empire from the Ashes' by David Weber. Its a long read but well worth it.

Check out Travis S Taylor author, scientist, teacher, and tv star for rocket city rednecks.
7 advanced degrees and he has a photo of him in front of a white board with symbols on it. The caption says he is working on warp drive. So still going on. The guy doing it bikes, martial arts, and writes books and the in his words spends a few weeks writing down all the stuff in my head and see how the formula works out.
As a species we've been looking at all sorts of ideas for propulsion in space to replace rockets, a pusher engine was on the table but international treaties banning nuclear explosions in space kinda ruined that. It would work so they might go back to it at some point.
