As a person who has, still is and will be for the rest of my life (there's no cure) struggling with mental illness I can truly say that the first game was a masterpiece. It is the only game I played twice among probably hundreds of others! All the sessions where in the complete darkness, in a room with no external noise and a really good headset. It was.....I don't have words...I can't describe it.... If the seconds instance is half of the first it will be, for the lack of words, an interesting ride... The epitome of "Video game as art"!!!

Even if for only a night, my anxiety and depression just....melted away. The train ride home was a different fucking story, hundreds of drunk idiots coming home from Coldplay that finished at the same time elsewhere in the city.....man that got my hackles up a bit

I just finished the first Hellblade game for the first time earlier, and by the Gods it was an absolutely beautiful experience. I absolutely can't wait for the sequel next month. This performance and song by Heilung is also spectacular and beautiful.

I bought Hellblade I & II. I am downloading the first one as I type.......I'm in the mood for a Viking Saga, replete with warriors, princesses, and all manner of foul beasts, dragons, and demons from Hell to battle. I am attempting to manifest it into reality.
Hellblade 1 is an amazing game and hopefully you'll enjoy it, it has its flaws but it's very good. Hellblade 2 well , i'll leave that up to you when you reach there.
