I wonder, how will Slane Theocracy react to such pyrrhic victory? They may have conquered the elf kingdom but they didnt capture its treasury and lost many men, resources. The most important loss was Zesshi (their trump card) and the two items used by their gods she carried.
They surely will become so desperate that they will send expeditions everywhere( including to the Sorcerer Kingdom) just for that purpouse. Ainz will use this transgression as an excuse to declare war on them and enact his revenge.

Nah ainz's nation is supposed to be a welcoming one iirc. I think Shalltear brainwashing is enough reason for war

Nobody outside Nazarick knows Shalltear (a vassal of Ainz) was brainwashed by the Slane Theocracy.
I don't think he'll wait for an excuse to attack them but just declare war on the grounds that they brainwashed Shalltear.
It’d be dope if Nazarik mind controlled her and made it look like she completed her mission but they were gaining more information about Slane theocracy from the inside and learning when to attack.
Considering how Control Amnesia has gotten a lot of focus over the last half dozen novels, I'd say that in all likeliness, Ainz, now having mastered the spell, will take his time carefully rewriting her memories to be Aura and Mare's bestest friend in the whole wide world, and/or use her as a wild card spy during the destruction of Slane, just for dramatic effect if nothing else. He'll probably reprogram her to have loyalty akin to the NPCs, no matter how cruel his order
@@Amodh1257 The problem is that rewriting her memories would take quite some time and it sounded more like he wanted things to happen to Slane NOW.

Surprised if he won't somehow bind her to him either through emotional or some other type of manipulation as her talent is unique and so is she and we know he likes to collect things.
Or he can just steal the talent through Wish Open the Star.

Ainz likely dislikes her as well being associated with Slane and Ainz only wanted them to find friends on top of Zesshi trying to kill him yea that is extremely unlikely and if it did happen it wouldn’t make any sense. She’s lucky if they just kill her tbh. Too many nerdy simps for Zesshi🤦🏾♂️
@@mark45635 They don't have to marry. Breeding would be enough but I don't think Ainz would force Mare into that and he knows that if he words things wrongly Mare will take them as an order and do it.

As being transported to the New World seems to be related to being close to a World Item when the servers shut down, it is safe to assume that the Eight Greed Kings and Six Gods were above average players. For some reason one of the two players within the Therteen Heroes was only midling level-wise.
i’d guess even less since one started out as the weakest of the heroes

@@huehue3592 Evileye wasn't part of the Thirteen Heroes IIRC. Ingrid was and later gave her ring to her after defeating and befriending her.
The question would be what the weakest member besides that player was. Not unlikely that it was a 30 something human but we don't know for sure.
@@kaltaron1284 evil eye also known as landfall was in a party with them at one point at least and she’s the one who talked about how the player became so strong so she is still connected enough to have been close with them

I really hope that Overlord series consider to explore the option of the NW being in an entirely new Universe where existence like World Enemies exists.
Dragon-Emperor was one of the weak creatures in this Universe that inhabitated this New-Earth.
As story progresses, the trio of Albedo, Demigure & Pandora's Actor must start from considering that Ainz's 10,000-year plan is to establish the absolute Rule of Nazarik over the whole Universe withNew Earth being it's Capital.
Ainz must use the WCI-Avarice & STS-Wish to get these abilities for all denizens of Nazarik, their Summons & creations:-
(1) Learn, use & create Martial-Arts & Tier-Magic of this New World
(2) Learn, use & create New job classes
(3) Improve their levels in Job-classes both new & old
This must greatly transform Nazarik & its forces as All of the Death-Knight, Assassins & Warriors created by Ainz must master Basic-Martial Arts.
Whereas Skeleton Mages & Elder Litches must master new Tier-Magic & classes.
Ainz through Fluder must learn the Necromancy practices of the New-World & throught that he must develop a technique to create:-
(1) Lvl-40 to 50 Undead by using 10-Corpses
(2) Lvl-50 to 60 Undead by using 100 Corpses
(3) Lvl-60 to 70 Undead by using 1000 Corpses
(4) Lvl-70 to 80 Undead by using 10,000 Corpses
(5) Lvl-80 to 90 Undead by using 100,000 Corpses
(6) Lvl-90 to 100 Undead by using 1000,000 Corpses
The above procedure should affect his Undead creation limits.
