I LOVE this person. Her yarn is WONDERFUL. I saw one of her shawls in Interweaves press and purchased the kit. From that time on I have purchased many of her patterns and yarn and I live in the USA. LOVE the yarn and patterns.

Si tu as des idées... à vendredi prochain avec grand plaisir! Biz, Brigitte

I have learnt some more great tips! The one where you have a bright yarn marking where to increase in the sleeves is very useful. In the past I have always relied on a stitch counter. I like the extra room for the elbows. Again, in the past, I have made up my own extra rows to allow for elbows in a sweater pattern and your tutorial has been wonderful to see! Merci!

I always forgot to turn the st counter! Glad you enjoy the elbow trick!

Encore merci!

    Excellent video, Hélène!
There is so much in it, I will be watching it again and again. Thanks for extending the KAL - even if I am knitting already with my stash (while waiting for my original yarn), I am just not that fast at knitting...! I really look forward to seeing your finished sweater, the colours are so pretty.

No worry or stress, no pressure to finisih a sweater! And thanks, can´t wait to share with you how my colors turned out!

I really love the idea of showing how to repair the Plotulopi!! Please please do a video on that. It is very interesting about the elbow not being worn.

This was a great episode in the KAL. I know I will be watching it again as I am keen to try out more knitting the continental way (also in the round as I am only used to using that method back and forth). This tip for selecting colours for the pattern and finding out about contrast was also great. I still have to choose my third pattern colour and now this already was helpful and gave me some new ideas. Thanks again... and looking forward also to the prolongued episodes:)

What a wonderful video! I know I will be watching it again when my yarn FINALLY arrives. I am excited to try magic loop and a new way of doing short rows that makes a lot more sense. I am so glad that we don't have to trap loops...that seems to be when my knitting gets the most wonky. Thank you for extending the KAL and sharing your skills and your enthusiasm!

I like to do a "German short row" (or that's what I thought it was called). It looks really similar to this-is it the same, but different name, as the yo short row? Also, I'm glad for the extended time with the KAL. I'm really enjoying this yarn and sweater; but, I have also been knitting so many other things I haven't made as much progress as I like. :) Thanks for the tips!

It´s a nice method too, different, but the working 2 sts together to close the gap is similar.
