Jake E. Lee is one of the most talented shredders in the 80's. i get motivation every time i see him play and that makes him one of my Heroes! ( i watched his 1984 Suicude Solution Solo and it blew my brains out... imagine playing fast licks while DANCING... i love Randy, Zakk, Gus G too btw! - love from the Philippines!!
Agree, he was great in Ozzy, Badlands too. He nailed Randy's stuff, besides Crazy Train & Crowley, since songs like Revelation & Steal Away were still in the setlist for him, early on.
He’s a cool guy, I’ve heard jake e lee could be pretty bitter but that could just be because of the fact he was in 2 bands that treated him like trash famously.
Thx for those licks Cam! I’ve been playing for 40 years and I still seem to learn something new from you every time I watch u play! U are a very talented guitarist!
Your playing has that special "something" man! You have an impeccable tone. When you go for those fast and aggressive runs it feels like I'm being taken on a ride through the stratosphere!
Randy Rhoads was born to help Ozzy Osbourne get back on his feet with his solo career and to give us wonderful music. Then, unfortunately, he left this world again
Hello Cam George here from Vegas thank you for the great lesson. Not just spoon feeding licks but showing how they can be used otherwise great lesson !!!!
Another great video Cam! Always presented clearly and your insight along with it all makes it easily digestible. You and Uncle Ben Eller are the best in the game. Appreciate you!
Great talent and teaching. Thanks for sharing what your hard work has produced. It’s been cool warning you grow up too. Wishing continued success young man!! Oh and RR was a guitar hero of mine growing up. Was very fortunate to have seen him supporting both his and Ozzy’s 1st n 2nd album tours.
Jake E. Lee is an Amazing guitar player. I really don't understand why he doesn't get the credit he deserves. I heard he hardly makes any $$$ off of those albums he did with Ozzy.
There is so much tastiness on the No Rest for the Wicked album. People really pay attention to Zakk on the No More Tears stuff, but his playing on NRFTW is mind blowing. I honestly think his best riffs are on that record. His version of Shot in the Dark on Just Say Ozzy is so good!
There is some great stuff on that album. I just think it's a bad sounding Ozzy album with great music on it. Similar to Ultimate Sin. That might be a reason why so many people don't celebrate it the same but who knows
@@CameronCooper Darth Hideous is another discussion for another day, she is one of the worst people in music......it would be nice if she paid out royalties as promised.
Awesome video, listening to early ozzy got me playing. Been with you from the start Cam when you just started on TH-cam, been amazing seeing you grow, now you're a millimetre from 100,000 subscribers. Congratulations and keep up the good work. From another richtone music customer 😉👍🏻
always good to feature some of the best guitarists in rock history, strangely they all played for Ozzy, all great in their own right, but the Rhoads licks all stand out as genius
Awesome Cameron! Thanks for sharing more awesome licks and inspiration. PS I just bought my first Charvel guitar from guitar Center- I just ordered it. Thanks to your reviews, and extensive playing with that brand. I got the Charvel DK 24HH 2pt cm gloss black … soooo looking forward to this guitar. You are a great spokesperson for that brand. PS when it arrives does it need to be set up by a tech, or do Charvel guitars play pretty good right out of the box? Thank you again for all your lessons and inspiration👍👍
Thanks a lot for the comment. It's totally up to you whether you think the guitar needs to be set up or not. Typically I don't have to but usually the play really well straight out of the box.
Use the little finger more if you want to improve how you use it. Try using it in licks you can already do. With alternate picking I recommend going over the Zakk stuff and doing whatever feels most natural to you
Man, I really wish you would do a video on how you record your videos. Like how do you get it to sound so good. Are you just mic'd up to your amp or what?
Jake E Lee is so underrated.
The best! People use to think that musicians turn into Gods after their death.
Yes
He insulted master yngwie. He will never live that down
@@joshmuz9018 he was absolutely correct in what he said about a piece of shit Yngwie Malmsteen
@@joshmuz9018 he’s kinda right tho.
Very cool video Cam! Thanks for the mention, had forgotten about that Crucify lick! 🤘🏻🤘🏻 keep shredding
You're welcome bro! Cheers! Crucify is defintely one of my favourites! We need to jam again soon !
Epic 💯

He's a musician. Not a shredder.
The part where he uses his thumb to barre. Pretty cool! Never thought of that.

@@Jay-sy5yf Well both id say

that was great, Jake was my favorite , he was great!!!
Very impressive 👍
Back in 2019 my wife and I met Zakk Wylde after the Experience Hendrix concert!! We got a picture with him!

another great guitar lesson sir Cameron real awesome playing Ozzy never had a bad guitarist even Iommi was excellent back in the day cheers🧋🥤

Incredible la Awesome 😎 my favorite part is Jake E Lee licks!! I love it
As a guitarist who is stuck in pentonic mode this was one of the most helpful videos ive watched in a long time thank you so much
Your technique is precise and impressive, especially your bends. They are always spot on. Thanks for the ideas here.
You work hard and we see it. You are appreciated.
I like that you through Gus in there. He’s never talked about much. I liked his work with Ozzy.
Yeah! They shouldn't have ever got Zakk back I don't think
Hello Cam George here from Vegas thank you for the great lesson. Not just spoon feeding licks but showing how they can be used otherwise great lesson !!!!

one of your best vids in a while. thank you for going in detail on a lot of great licks that are re-usable.
I like the demonstration teaching style, more please
sheeesh you make me giggle like a kid when you play!!
I love these hybrid lick/lessons . Thanx Cam 🤘
Love the videos . Sato is a personal favorite of mine , not too difficult and has some realm Jem's all through it .
Yeah we all need to start spamming Ozzy's like email or Facebook account or going to concerts and telling it to give Jake the writing credit
This is Awesome Cameron!! Definitely gonna have to steal some of these licks ;)
You are a killer, thank you for breaking these licks down!
Excellent video. It Gets Me Through
Awesome your hybrid lessons always inspire new ideas ! great job.
I like Randy , Jake was absolutely fire on the guitar , his guitar work is being broken down and now its more appreciated than ever

I think the same about Gus G. Sharon got a knack for sacking the wrong people

Thanks a lot. Hope that you can show licks or riff from Dio gitaris Vivian Cambell.
Great job Mr.Cameron! I hope you give Joe Holmes style licks some love as well. Love your vids mate.
My favourite guitarrists!
Man I love your play style. Aggressive, precise, with perfect finesse. A serious 'David and Goliath' vibe. I aspire to come close.
dude you are a baddass!
Zakk Wyldes Hybrid picking technique is so overlooked.
Definitely!
Very cool wow!🤘🏻🙂
Lovely!! Glad I'm a bass player!! Lol Peace brother
Great playing! Which settings you are using on your THR to reach that amazing tone?
Same as the disgusting tone tutorial
@@CameronCooper thank you!

THERES A YEARS WORTH OF LICKS AND VARIATIONS JUST IN THE FIRST 10 MINUTES!!!
Great video, so insightful. I just wish you used either of your Edwards Lp's since it's Ozzy..🤘
Cheers. Jake E Lee used Charvels. Edwards guitars don't belong to me
I've been playing since I was 8 I'm 47 and I've realized I wanna be you when I grow up!!
Besides Rhodes, Who who you say is your favorite guitar player of Ozzy?
I love them all but probably Jake. I have a lot more fun playing his stuff over Randy or Zakk or Gus.

Cam, do a video on how to use a looper. I can't get it right, mate. I get the weird gap that doesn't sound good. Best regards.
Nice purple charvel it looks just like mine lol but you've got zebra humbuckers on yours
How can I get a stronger pinky, and improve alternate picking? And is the pinky as important as people claim?
Use the little finger more if you want to improve how you use it. Try using it in licks you can already do. With alternate picking I recommend going over the Zakk stuff and doing whatever feels most natural to you
Online, just seeing his name correctly spelled is a plus.
Not that difficult really, I don't know how people get it wrong. Especially when they say they're a fan 😂
Nice, bro.
This is great you should do the same but with Dave Roth's guitarists
Never thought of that. But I've taught a lot of what I know from them
Nice
Where can we see a screen shot of this exact tone for the Yamaha thr 30ii?

The quality & editing of your videos is top tier 👌. What camera and video editing software do you use?
Filmora 11 and Lumix GH5
Man, I really wish you would do a video on how you record your videos. Like how do you get it to sound so good. Are you just mic'd up to your amp or what?
I'm recording the amp direct into my computer via USB. Then I sync it up with my Rode mic audio
Hello Cameron, what are your pickups on your beautiful Yellow quilted guitar at the very beginning of the video ? Great job for your videos !
Seymour Duncan Full Shred and Alnico II Pro
@@CameronCooper TY Cameron^^
You left it Brad Gillis
He basically played Randy's parts with more whammy bar. Not enough to inspire me to put him in this video.
How about some Andy La Roque licks! The forgotten and most underrated guitar hero!
Brad Gillis was no slouch on the guitar neither. He was pretty amazing too!
He was ace! Only reason I never mentioned him was because he didn't appear on a studio album
Great playing. The video would be even better with time stamps
