only one suggestion while doing this. Dont heat the water very high because it will generate huge pressure inside the bottle and once you will open the water hot water spit out like fountain and you may injured.

Make a solution first and only then pour into that bottle. Don't put powder and lemon at first as it is concentrated it will react with metal inside bottle too. So, make warm solution(not too concentrated) first and pour into the bottle and rinse it for few minutes and wash again with warm water and let the lid open for few hours.
I tried putting baking soda first and warm water second the base of the steel flask just reacted due to higher concentration at first and left so many very small reacted dented marks at the bottom.

Just one comment to correct the statemen you mention about baking soda....Baking soda is base not acidic.....that's why it react with lemon or vinegar..
So we can use any basic and acidic things to clean the utensils.

Thanks Garima , I tried the combination of lemon and salt left it for overnight . Followed the same procedure as explained by you .
