the level title that Simple says is "pretty close" at 14:20 is "Jump Jump Jump" by Sashimi Hifue. due to the rough phonetic translation of Japanese to English and the "invisible 'N' rule", Sashimi Hifue can actually be pronounced "Schmeven" if you completely lie and pronounce it wrong.

If you could pause freely then the optimal way to play would be terribly unfun. People seriously going for the challenge would feel obligated to use pause cheese. The community would split between people who think pausing is cheating and those who don’t. It may seem like a silly rule but I think it’s necessary. IMO
I think a big part of the 'no pause' is that you could easily see the clear time, intentional or not, which could tell you if there's a dev exit. I don't think it's a great rule though, nor the 'no translation help'
I've watched two streams now and no one has explained the no-pause rule. Can anyone enlighten me?
If multiverse theory is correct there is a timeline out there where everything in the world is identical to ours except the exact run where schmeven was added to the bets and not only does simple get to 50 stages but also dies on a level called schmeven

When I saw Matt's hyperrealistic, but still incredibly emotive snowman drawing, I felt my cold, cold heart melt if even just a little bit.
I really like how schmeven is just whatever Simple's whim is. It really adds an extra layer to the betting because he sometimes randomly chooses to throw for no particular reason but he ALSO might just decide to go for schmeven because its funny.
I love how Simple does this while 100% derisive of the entire setup
