good day, I have such a reel after several fishing trips, the main pair growled (for fastened), did not throw more than 15 grams with a coil, I wanted to ask you have such a problem, thanks for the answer earlier
Logical way, right handed should use left hand crank. Not right hand crank. Silly to see people hold with right hand to cast. Change to left hand to crank ! So absurd ! Most of my casting reels are left handed coz, I'm right handed. That's the correct way. No need to change hands !
@@andersriksson100 Nope. I don't misunderstand. You should hold the rod with your stronger hand to hold the load when fish bite. Fresh water fish can weight more than 5kg. If hold the rod with weaker hand, one tires easily. It is really silly that you was taught the wrong way to fish with BC. A right jan person, hold the rod with right hand and vast. Switch to left hand so the right hand reel the fish. If you got a logical mind it is wrong. Right hand person should cast with right hand and crank with the left hand without changing hand. That's the right way to fish. A smart person will be struct dumb what most BC casters were doing. You were taught the wrong and difficult way to fish, it's up to you. I make it easier for my hands. Anyway , spinning reel can change from right or left hand crank. BC can't ! That's why spinning reel sells more than BC.. BC can't cast smaller lures further than spinning reel without backlash. I used both reels. For BC, I'll always buy the BC ICAST winners 2-3 years. I got lots of reels, 30 sets. Fishing giant prawns, I used 10 sets per boat. Others up to 20 ! Bank fishing I use 4. Depend on what fish I hunt so there are many different set for particular fish. I am also have ISO rods, trolling, jigger, pole and beach fishing. Just fish the style what you're comfortable and not what you were told. As long it works. There's only a few lefties in this world.
Best way is to learn cast and reel both handed, i normally cast right handed and reel with left hand, before as 15year old kid when i was tought to use bc reel i was tought to cast right handed and change hands to left and reel with right hand after couple years i learned to do it like i do now mostly, its also usefull to learn how to cast left handed.
I just recieved mine and like it a lot. Casts great and does not make the "rrr" sound of the one in the video. MUCH better caster than Fishband 100 which is no slouch. Highly recommended!
I grew up eating largemouth. They aren't BAD eating. Firm, got some bones, tastes like fish...🤷 The only freshwater fish I wouldn't recommend at least trying is bowfin, & from what I seen, Blacks & Cajuns in the south have recipes that make them taste good. Similar to carp, not many in the states est carp, however, some places in Europe love them. But largemouth isn't bad, I'd rather eat brim, white bass, hybrid, striper, or flathead catfish.
Good vid, thanks. Appreciate seeing so many casts…btw, the shimano bfs xg cast control dial is WAY too stiff & numbers too tiny for me to see…plus there is no clicker to see (hear) if I’m even moving it! Can this be adjusted?? How? Thanks

Of course I understand that this video is about casting light lures, but I will still comment this lure. This is an imitation of a dragonfly/mayfly nymph and I have a lot of experience fishing with it. It will catch fish better if it is heavy weighted/overweighted, Makes more noise as it hits rocks and makes mud clouds.Sorry for the offtopic.
I don’t know if anyone has pointed this out to you but I would like to offer an overhead casting technique that has really improved my results. When casting overhead I cant the reel 90 degrees (right handed reel, the handle up) so that I can bend my wrist naturally. You may have already tried this and don’t prefer it, but it has helped me be a much better bait caster.
Thank you a lot for this vid. What I saw, the reel performs amazing with this very low weight. What I would be most interested of would be how this compares to the top JDM reels; how much is the difference? btw, concerning beast, dragon and false prophet I esteem the books of Patrick Heron, eye opener for me.
How does this reel compare to gh100 in terms of casting ability (light lures), built quality and overall performance since it used same material and bracking system.

I havent had this reel very long
Great info, anyone have any thoughts on the current LINGL without the FTB brakes on Ali right now anniversary sale?
The “rrrrr” sound when you cast is that the brakes kicking in or does it come with ceramic bearings?
could be the bearings, but they are not ceramic
Would like to see this reel vs the upgraded one in a cast battle, or this vs the curado bfs
i just don't understand if throw right why not reel left? unnecessary movements.
because I can

@@juhavuorinen6305 Ofc, it's good to know with both hands. Still, after the cast, the rod itself does not change hands.
When you backlashed did the line go in between the spool and frame? The gh100 I have has that issue

Is there a chance to minimize the 'rrrr' Sound?😅 Mine does it and its like loud children singing😔
What are the rules with bass in the states? I hear they aren’t very good eating anyway, but Is there a size/bag limit?
12 inches to keep

bank beater for life!
The noise when do a cast came from the bearings. I thought to change my lingl bearings with ceramic bearing
Been looking on Ali express for this reel but can’t find it ? Can you point me in the right direction plz
I would try back in a couple of days, it seems that all the LINGLs have been removed which seems like a glitch
Will you do another update on Japan's most popular reels?
I want to, but I dont have access to that magazine and tzlure didnt do another article
Cant find this reel 😢
The right hand reels just came back in stock. Only a handful

Those thin knobs really help to feel baits better !

could be the bearings

LINGL has two versions, 7.3 gear ratio and 8.1 gear ratio, which do you like more?
The shallow spool version
Received my Black Knight 2. Had a quick look out of the box. I noted that the thumb bar is kind of shaky, not as crisp as I would like in use.

Ive never casted anything this light with the GH100 and I remember the Spirit Fox casting 1/16th easier and a little farther

Monofilament and fluorocarbon are about the same. Braid cast further
