Agreed, really impressed by his all-round game. And that he can take a shot too. He appears grounded and humble too which should hopefully ensure he doesn’t get carried away by his early success.
He's got a overpowering demeanour too which automatically puts guys on the back foot and waiting to be punched without throwing much in return.

@@lumpahumpa2773 Serious focus as well,hard to put into words but he looks like his concentration level on his own work is off the scale.Never gets fazed by anything, important when nervous energy can work against even the fittest. Still early days but a serious amount of potential there.
Gorman was simply overpowered, Daniel knew Gorman couldn’t hurt him and boxed as such. At 21 he looks great, needs more variety in his work but looks a great prospect. 🥊

Dubois wasn't lying when he said this was gonna be one of his easiest fights. Besides rd 1 which was a 50/50 rd he pretty much dominated Nathan.
Gorman was scared of Dubois power once he got roughed up a bit.

If Dubois had not gone headhunting so intently, and worked body and jab more, he could have finished that 2 rounds earlier.
Dubois hit gorman with loads of body shots but only problem is when he hits him a few times in the head he gets tunnel vision and keeps trying to hit the head. I agree needs a few more body shots added to his combinations
Gorman was very average imo, movement non-existent, stood on the ropes, rarely threw the jab, traded under pressure, etc.......Made it very easy for Dubois. Also respect to BT for uploading this so early.

He was under fire, couldn't get his attack going because of Dubois's power, control of distance, and his own excellent jab. Gorman showed heart but this was a mismatch, Dubois is the real deal...
Shawn A Well put. DD is definitely the best prospect right now at HW. Like to see him win the British out right and go for the European. NG just needs to continue with his development and take this loss as the start of something (not the end) like Whyte did. Not too many exciting fights at domestic level for DD though

I think Yoka will give him great trouble, Dubois is very good on the outside. With Yoka who can keep people on the inside, and step quick on the outside, Dubois will be out boxed. This is my opinion, and I may be wrong. But Yoka still will really give trouble to a lot of boxers. I also think that Usik will beat Dubois easy.

Yeah he looks class, can never be completely sure as these young fighters go through the levels but he does look the real deal, I fear too much expectation though, hope he's not rushed to very top let him gain his experience

Nathan Gorman is a 22 yo young man,looks like he just spent the war with Hermann Goering at a table of bacon and ale. We did not see Nathan Gorman's ability due to his below par conditioning.When I was 22,Joshua would of felt shy standing near me shirtless.Nathan needs a push mower and a acre of country lawn to mow every few days.No Self propelled,real bull work.Out of shape terrible,cheated himself.

brolygvc Got stopped at 8 but the ref can still call it if the fighter doesn't make it clear he's able to continue. Some incompetent refs will leave that go on but I think he made a good judgement call, a lot of fighters will get up out of pride alone there and should be saved from themselves.

Gorman's decent it''s just Dubois is excellent. Gorman is still a UK top 10 heavyweight, around top 50 - 60 in the world... but Dubois is world level top 20 at this point.

Go back and look closely at all of Roy Jones fights only one guy in this young career hit and put in down. That was Lou Devoul it think that's how his name is spelled anyway lou was a South Paw, Roy wasn't getting hit until he put on all that muscle to fight as a Heavyweight but his biggest mistake was coming back down to light Heavyweight to fight tarver his strength was gone. That was the true down fall a great master fighter.

seems like he has a better gas tank, better durability and better chin than AJ, so he's got a big future ahead of him if he gets it all right, personally i wouldn't rush him he's only 21, he might as well refine his game for a few years then everyone else will be in their mid thirties., which will be even more advantageous for him

turns out dubiois has better boxing IQ, he used his jab and timed his big shots better, gorman looked british level tonight and dubiois a class above in every aspect. gormans best chance is a rebuild he cant win 12 rounders against top guys boxing like this so he might have to go to a povetkin kind of style.

I think they knew like everyone else did that dubois was going to win but to try and make it seem like it was competitive fight they just over emphasised gormans punches
Personally, I found it was biased towards DDD. Gorman was landing multiple hooks throughout (they were just ineffective!) but these were ignored by the commentary team.
