I subscribed to you. I'm planning on getting g me a 68. If I do what I saw you do. Will that guarantee more performance . By the way will it give it that punch?
Wild results DK!!💥😳👌 One helluva powerful revolver! I love your work and this video is a super cool tutorial which is mega easy to follow. Quick question... on my 7.5j version, if i do this mod exactly like u do it, using 12g co2, what is the increase in power? God bless brother
Hey dk thanks for the great information! I have a question for you. What would happen you cut the barrel of the hdr 68 and make it a shorty? Will it still fire? I’m sure the plastic gram would be easy to cut to. Just curious!
Is this what we have to do to the ones ordered in America. I bought one and can’t for the life of me find what Joule version it is? Only thing I see says 22 at end of model number but it shoots about 4 magazines or more with 1 CO2.
Hi Spencer, can you tell me where you find this kind of valve ? I find other but that's absolutely not the same of you... May be an other modification inside the barrel ? Or this modification is the only to do for have the best power? Thanks for your help
@@michaelbeautrix3902 I believe either model has a restrictor that you can remove I think one just has a bigger restrictor than the other. Because with the restrictor removed you definitely get more power than 16 so the 16 one probably has just less of a restrictor than the seven
Will this mod method work on the 7.5 Jules version of the HDR50 and HDR68? I have been watching your channel for some time. You my friend are a bit of a mad scientist at this field. Love your work and how you look out for our friend in Norway. Have a great one from the lower Florida Keys. These mods still work with co2, correct?
Hey DK I got a question: I just got my hdr 68 couple.days ago and saw this video and would like to follow your tutorial. By just removing the Restrictor, it will raise up the joules right ? I wonder how many ammo will it last for a single 12g Co2?
Yeah worst part would be bust it open and have springs fly everywhere which this shows how that valve block impedes airflow. I don't know why but how does Jeff Mackay get better numbers coming through the top of the marker with hpa you wouldn't think it would matter but he does have extended barrel and so forth but I don't see any reason to dial it past 35 plus joules you see what one shot did to the coconut 😂. Great tutorial though dk
Well this one will get considerably better numbers with higher output air. I have them both ways. I can get them to the point of farting no matter how the air goes into it. So basically you can get as high numbers as you can get no matter which way you do it.
i only can get the stupid ass restricted 7,5 joule version in germany, i need to replace the a thin pin and that object you removed in your video right? and the pin gets replaced by another from a " upgrade kit" am i right guys ? please help me :) and how do i get this extension for this Big Co2 gas
This is just a 7.5 version all you do is remove the restrictor. The other version just has a smaller restrictor. Once you remove the restrictor from either version it's the same and no you don't need a different pin on these
You still not using an ASA Dan? 😂 Thought you'd have learned by now. Be bloody careful with your toys. You'll end up blowing or chopping off a limb. Good to see you. Give my best to Brenda. Anna
@@Spacecruizer203 It's advisable. Then you can turn the air on and off. You can also leave a full or part full HPA tank attached for ages without worrying about it leaking, or exploding in Dan's case!
Your advice worked for me, but it took 15 minutes. My needle nose pliers wouldn't fit. Had to hit the screw with a hammer but it wouldn't catch the valve block so I had to try several times again. I wonder if it would have been easier just to take apart the whole revolver.
Ciao a voi americani sembra una cazzata da niente aver queste armi .. ma x noi europei ed italiani queste sono vere e proprie armi non letali ma comunque molto molto potenti che ti salvano la vita 😊😊 ciao ciao americani
All the while you’re screwing up those aluminum threads, that brass fitting goes back into. Or possibly damage them. Whereas not to be able to put that brass fitting back in. Then your out … oh,, how much? Theresa better way. Get a bigger gun.😆🤣🤣🤣
It's a hell of a lot easier to just pull the screws and separate the 2 halves of the gun. Why would you struggle to keep the haves separated when you can just take them apart with a few more screws?
I've done about 35 of them and I think it's easier to do it this way cuz you've got less stuff to worry about when it comes apart it's not about the struggle of taking the screws out. It's not rocket surgery to put one back together if you take it completely apart obviously I can do that to HDX I could do one of these in my sleep. If you take it completely apart you got two springs that you have to deal with again not that they're hard but you don't have to deal with them if you don't take them completely apart. Less chance of losing anything on the inside accidentally. You don't have to struggle with the little post on the front site coming off and having to get it back right. Again none of these things are difficult but there's more to the reason I do it this way than just being too lazy to take out a couple of more screws it's about keeping stuff and the right place when you don't need to move it
Wow, very good demonstration!
Nice job , you make look easy !!!
You forgot to remove that o ring inside that valve brother 🤙 great video
Great informative video👍. Cool test😎. Be careful so you dont loose any fingers with the chainsaw. Cheers brother 😃👍

Hi Spencer!! Where can i find this adapter to HPA?
Is this power the same if I use the 88g cylinder?
Can you modify a HDX cause I really want a 60 joules one 😬
Is this modification for the 7,5 or 16 Joule version? In Germany are only 7,5 J versions in sale.

Can works well with out the disc valve on 12g Co2 ?
Yes

This is just the valve that came on it. All I'm doing in this case is just removing the restrictor from the valve that's already there

The 50 you need the pin as well to get the best power

About 15 shots
Does it matter which version of it you have ? In Canada I think ours is 7 or 11 joules, 16 in the US I think. 🙂

The 16 has no restrictor , Right???
16 has restrictor, modifying the 7.5's restrictor takes a lot more effort
Hey DK, I followed this exact process and now my first shot is farting every time, any ideas on how I can fix this?

How many joule increase from only Removing the Restrictor on my HDR68 16 joule?
About double
