Holy hell... it's been a couple of years since I last checked up on this video. So much has transformed in my life since then (in fact I got into game production as a result of Inquisition spurring my love for gaming). On a recent revisit of Inquisition, I was reminded of what I'd once created and decided to see how it was doing on the platform and UMMMM.... I'M ASTOUNDED?? OVERWHELMED AND AT A LOSS BY THE COMMUNITY HERE?? AT ALL THE VIEWS AND LOVE AND HEARTFELT COMMENTS?? Seriously, thank you all so, so much for supporting this video beyond my wildest expectations. When creating this, I remember being huddled with my laptop in bed in the midst of college, tears pooling over my keyboard putting this together before throwing it out into the void with the desire to share my adoration for the universe with others. These characters are incredibly meaningful to me as they were there for me during a very dark part of my life, and I wish I could tell that younger version of myself how much this small passion project--what seemed so feeble, ridiculous, and naïve for me to do at the time--catapulted and connected on a scale I never would have expected and still can't quite fathom. It makes me all the more excited to share in our passion for the bond between these two characters when DreadWolf finally releases. Until then, know that I am forever grateful to the community. I deeply empathize in the pain we all feel together brought about by such tragic, honest, vulnerable story. I am here reading each and every comment, grateful for your time and support and forever astounded by the support. Here's to a hopeful ending, if Weekes grants us any mercy

It doesn't matter how late you are to it, once you're in Solavellan hell, there is no escape. This is very well done, it evokes the pain they both feel.
Dude, I JUST stumbled upon it!!! I haven't played Dragon Age, but my curiousity on the Iron Bull romance lead me into this devastating hell hole! And here I am, feeding this lonely dark filled heartbroken despair from loving and lossing him! What do I do now to survive this? Because I feel like I cannot properly live... and I only got the interactions from a 1 hour long video!!!! The hell is wrong with me?

The writing was so well done....I swear if they don’t give me my happy married baby love making ending in dragon age 4. They better give the option to let you die with him at least or I swear the masses will never heal from such a tortured forbidden love 💔😭

In trespasser, they give you the option to say you'll save him and that's the only thing that gives me any hope at saving/siding with him. I will be distraught if they make me kill him. The world used to not have the veil, while it may change the world they live in, maybe destroying it will simply make it as it should be.
Every time I play this game I have to force myself to play a human character or I'll do the Solas romance again... and again... and again. This video is amazing, and heartbreaking.

The fact that we won't be playing our inquisitor in DA:4 is a crime against humanity. Imagine her going after him, moving heaven and earth while the world comes apart to stop him and either show him another way or to relieve him of his guilt, one way or another. 3:15 has no meaning without that! D:
This was seriously well done. Your Lavellan is exactly how I think Lavellan should look, she's gorgeous, very Elvhen looking with the features you chose, and everything about her just fits the character. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall to see how you created her. She's perfect. I can never get my characters to turn out that well. Something is always... off. Anyway, the music choice was perfect for this, and the dialogue you chose for that lull in the music? -Oh my heart. I loved this. I think I watch it much too often now.
solas felt his feelings about the inquisitor so real it could change everything. thats why he left us, because loving us means that everything is real. but thats not his truth, he wants back what he destroyed and thats his only reality. "maybe in another world", he was about to tell us the truth but his personality and pride didnt let him, so he left

I thoroughly enjoyed this video, the music was beautiful. Even though i didn't romance Solas, always been Cullen(reminds me of Kaiden from Mass effect). I've just watched romance videos of Solas this was a good rendition of their tragic love Story. The Inquisitor definitely has to make an appearance in Dragon Age 4.

Who disliked this and why? WHY? This is heart achingly lovely and show cases both thier pain. It's beautiful and so sweety cruel to learn to love only to watch them slip away.
1/ Dragon Age haters. 2/ Solas haters. 3/ Solavellan players who hurt to much, got their trauma brought to the surface by this video and couldn't deal with that pain... Hence disliking a video that made them suffer. That's my guess.
I'm always late to a great video game, and I have fallen so deeply for Solas' character and my first playthrough I'm romancing him. This video, is so gut wrenchingly beautiful. The editing skills are astounding and the song choice was perfect. I’ve decided I’m going rewrite the ending, even if it’s only for myself, either that or write a continuation where there’s some sort of a happy ending. This game, this romance, has literally broken my heart and it feels like such a personal event. So I’m writing the ending for some closure- literally been a week and it’s all I think about at work 😂

While LiaraxShepard is the romance we all want to have, Solavellan is the once romance we all want to write about.. pity that for continuity reasons, it is unlikely we will see any real focus on the romance in DA4.

This was seriously well done. Your Lavellan is exactly how I think Lavellan should look, she's gorgeous, very Elvhen looking with the features you chose, and everything about her just fits the character. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall to see how you created her. She's perfect. I can never get my characters to turn out that well. Something is always... off.
Anyway, the music choice was perfect for this, and the dialogue you chose for that lull in the music? -Oh my heart. I loved this. I think I watch it much too often now.
solas felt his feelings about the inquisitor so real it could change everything. thats why he left us, because loving us means that everything is real. but thats not his truth, he wants back what he destroyed and thats his only reality. "maybe in another world", he was about to tell us the truth but his personality and pride didnt let him, so he left

I thoroughly enjoyed this video, the music was beautiful. Even though i didn't romance Solas, always been Cullen(reminds me of Kaiden from Mass effect). I've just watched romance videos of Solas this was a good rendition of their tragic love Story. The Inquisitor definitely has to make an appearance in Dragon Age 4.

As for mods, I use the Side Braid with Bun by Caliterra, All about the face by ShepShy, Hair Retexture by fontofnothing, Settrahs Updated Brow Mod, SK Hair Re-texture by Skaramoosh, and Ciri's Hair Attempt by Elithabesu :) lots of mods lol didn't realize how many I actually used until now. Back again for another watch. This remains as one of my most favorite Solavellan videos of all time. Each time I come back for a re-watch, I feel the heartache and love all over again.

While LiaraxShepard is the romance we all want to have, Solavellan is the once romance we all want to write about.. pity that for continuity reasons, it is unlikely we will see any real focus on the romance in DA4.
