The comeback that this game made is unbelievable. Started playing it on PS5 after Update 2.1 and I can very confidently say that it's one of the greatest games of all time, and one of the best RPGs ever. It's a completely unique experience which no other game can provide. And of course, as it's a CDPR game, so it's all about the storytelling. Once again they managed to tell such a wonderfully written and complex story. And the Phantom Liberty story DLC is in a league of its own as well.

I've watched this many times, feeling the emotion again. And let me tell you... after patch 1.5, playing on a RTX3090, Psycho RTX, all settings at max... walking or driving through the streets of Night City is really breathtaking!
Rewatching this presentation over and over again just makes me realize that it wasn't the hype for Cyberpunk that made it a good moment, it was Keanu. The "wake up Samurai" scene followed by "please welcome Keanu Reeves" and the man coming out of a huge burst of white light while the OST plays on the back was one of the best things to ever happen on a gaming event. They opened that door like Jesus Christ himself was going to come from that burst of white light, it was f***** beautiful! This wasn't the Cyberpunk 2077 presentation, hell this wasn't even E3, this was the Keanu Reeves show!

In one of the streams of CDPR for update 1.5, part of the staff of CDPR in the stream revealed how no one was aware of the announcement by Keanu at 6:25 about the release date. In CB's case however, you cannot blame the quantity and severity of bugs on quality assurance alone. Its essentially Cyberscam 2077-2020edition Even if they fix it, which i doubt given that a lot of stockholders withdrew their shares, it would probably be outdated and eclipsed by better video games by the time it got functional.
Its crazy how far not only the story came from this teaser here, but also how far the game has come from when it began. Thank God this game is getting the recognition it deserves.

Has it really been 3 years? Man… just started legitimately playing the game after finish Edgerunners, still not the perfection we all hoped for, but it’s playable and it’s a great game now. Hyped for the DLC

I just got the game for the first time a few weeks ago (late 2023) and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. However, I can only imagine how everyone felt when it first launched. Even now, as fun as it is, I can see many things missing, relative to what was promised from the very beginning. I can also see that many promises will remain unfulfilled and can only dream about what could have been.

@@reaverthebeaver I’m not sure about that, I picked it up last week and it’s friggin AMAZING, but I have encountered a few bugs here and there along with some guns clipping through the characters in cutscenes, but nothing too serious, I’m enjoying myself

Years later, after the release. In one of the streams of CDPR for update 1.5, part of the staff of CDPR in the stream revealed how no one was aware of the announcement by Keanu at 6:25 about the release date.
Everybody in the studio was in shock after and a lot of chaos followed in the coming months lol

Difference is, there was a time when games were released in discs with just minor bugs. Yes, a decade ago.
In CB's case however, you cannot blame the quantity and severity of bugs on quality assurance alone.

Even if they fix it, which i doubt given that a lot of stockholders withdrew their shares, it would probably be outdated and eclipsed by better video games by the time it got functional.
