I can't believe it. It ripped my soul apart completely. His contribution was always magnificent. He left joy in our hearts. Thank you Mr. Rourke, rest in peace.
@@jeffjeff4477Indeed. Speaking for myself, ever since I became a Smiths fan, I've always found my focus being pulled towards their rhythm section (with all due respect to Johnny and Moz, though). And when you hear/read each story coming from those who were lucky enough to cross paths and interact with Andy... mentioning how he was such a lovely person, such a loss hurts even more.
Thank You 😀 as annoying as morrissey is, it was always such a hoot watching Royce seem to laugh at his antics... Not to mention their Absolute Mastery of their Instruments.. always thought that if you ever met them, they would be as Gracious as the situation allowed (Mr. Marr also ❤) as opposed to Mr. My opinion is The Answer to Everything and Everyone is Inferior to ME! Thank You again 😊
Mike & Andy likely agreed to what was a deal for them to be contractual rhythm at 10% each but later claimed equal partnership. Moz still had respect for Andy years later but I saw video of Moz saying MJ could F himself or something similar. -Dan
Yes, in 1982 when The Smiths were unknown and had only written 2-3 songs, Mike & Andy agreed to take 10%. Only a complete moron would do that and only a complete moron would believe that happened. Nobody joins an unknown band and willingly agrees to take just 10%. That only happens if you’re an unknown and the artist has sold millions of albums.
Busque: Morrissey, Wolverhampton Civic Hall, 1988. Mis saludos más cordiales.
I understand the attraction of the 🎶 from overseas people. However how do they understand the ironic and subjective lyrics of Morrissey? (I'm including unknowledgable Americans) I'm from Kensington and Chelsea in London (my name is historical some 140 years ago); and occasionally even I have to examine, what he means. It's very British. Best wishes 👍 🇬🇧😂
What an ARROGANT POS you are... WE figured out pretty quickly that Your Hero is an entitled RACIST who believes every word out of his mouth should be carved in stone.. What took you "smart" brits so long to see it?
Rest in peace Andy Rourke 😭🙏

I'm still in shock RIP Andy 😭💔
RIP Andy, you will truly be missed
Very underrated bass player. I loved him.

oh god andy’s smile… i’m gonna cry
What sucks is we never got a Smith's reunion
RIP Andy, you were the best and so influencial
We miss you so much
There was always zero chance of a Smiths reunion as Morrissey would never have shared a stage with Joyce.
It was extremely unlikely to happen.
Now with Andy gone, it's downright impossible.
@@skadiondurgudis2450 It is sad on all fronts

Aún no puedo creer su partida.
Andy fue siempre mi Smith favorito.
Esto duele. Y mucho.💔😢

Thats impressive. You strike me as someone who may appreciate Barbarism Begins at Home by The Smiths. Maybe Im just being weird.
