If the officers aren't doing anything wrong, they have nothing to worry about.
The only way that a good cop could get in trouble, when dealing with an auditor, is to not be a good cop. The law is the law, the constitution is the constitution, if the officer follows the law, they won't have anything to worry about. The problem is that cellphones with cameras and a place to post videos online haven't been around very long and these auditors are shining a light on police officers and their long standing behavior. I understand that the officers don't like being filmed when the break the law and trample on people's rights, but they got away with murder, literally, for too long and now the chickens are coming home to roost.

Auditors and news reporters both depend on the First Amendment and the Freedom of the Press. Yet, it's like they're trying to distance themselves from ordinary citizens in order to be on the cops' good side so they're not disrespected when filming. There is no thin grey camera shaped line, where if an "auditor" goes out and assaults someone, we all join in, and then create a smear campaign on their behalf to ensure he gets away with it. That's the big difference between auditors and cops. Our bad apples are handled the best we can by the community, and they aren't immune to the laws like cops are.
