The “whether to include music” question is a tough one! Some of my very favorite videos by makers of various kinds feature music that either enhances the content or provides a gentle background element that is super enjoyable... BUT, I’m sure you’ve seen some of the same videos that I have where the music is incredibly distracting or even bad enough to make you want to bail out early... and how to pick music that the majority of viewers will enjoy? I feel that based on your excellent production and attention to detail in your videos, your music choices are likely to be extremely solid! Also, your control over that spiral blade is quite inspiring!
Thank you for the kind feedback. I am using less music in my videos as time goes on but I will probably continue to use it in project videos where I might not have as much to say.
Just found your channel. Wow I must say I am impressed by how much shaping you can do on the strip sander. I do a lot of intarsia and that is my least favorite tool to use. I do use a Drexel but hope to one day get a foredom. Have you tried a pneumatic drum sander? Will watch more soon.
Roland, I haven't purchased the pneumatic drum sander yet but I have used them. One is on my list of things to purchase. Intarsia is my favorite style of woodworking. I hope to get started on another project soon.
"Music" is a broard area and all too often someone wil put loud, annoying "music" on a loop that drives me to either just turn the level down to zero or if it's really annoying, just escape that video and find something that doesn't p---- me off.
