Although its not your grandest build, its by far my favorite. It may be small, but the simplicity and variety of the rooms add so much personality and story. Very impressive once again!
the amount of interior 3d detail you have on the doors, walls, ceilings. the fire place in the main eating area. omg this is amazing. so many things im gonna try and incorporate into my stuff. well done!
I love mountain top builds. I live in the desert so it's nice to go in-game and pretend to be sitting down by a roaring fire looking out thru the window as the snow falls. I'm currently building a santa-themed castle and elf/dwarf village. It's very humble compared to this work of art! **I really wish the devs could incorporate these kinds of custom builds into the core game and fill them with special items or treasure. It would be so cool to discover these fantastic builds.
For whoever wants to know. The Reason why the campfires keep going out and re-infighting is because the smoke builds up and extinguishes the fire, there isn’t enough of a gap for the smoke to leave fast, so while the fire is extinguished the remaining smoke leaves.
Hey, you should try using the Rune Magic mod. It includes a thing called the Foundation Rune and also a rune that resets all land changes (including grass and groundcover, not trees). The Foundation Rune is basically a gigantic and very powerful hoe that can be sized up/down with scroll wheel. I find it helps with terraforming lag and is also super useful for making more natural terrain and tall things. It does suffer from the same height limitations as the hoe, but it's a little more flexible. Great techniques, I'm enjoying watching as another builder :)
It occurs to me that this design is inspired by the architectural tradition of economically and functionally impractical aesthetic edifices built by feudal barons to impress their friends, barons who not infrequently went bankrupt in the process. And that there are direct parallels here to survival-mode Valheim in this.
I've been learning so much from you, and managed to improve my builds so much but my question is, how do you get the ideas to build something like this? What's your though/ build process?
Nice looking. In a real game I would have to make enemies passive after building this and set raids to none. Otherwise one troll/Gjall raid could wipe that castle off the face of the planet.
