The use of Foley in Theatre

The sound design for The Invisible Man features Foley, a technique for creating sound effects that spans back to the 1920s.
We spoke to Jeremy Bradfield, sound designer and composer about what foley is and the process for designing sound for the show. Plus, he gave us some sneak previews of sounds that are being used in the performance itself. It's really exciting that our performers will be using Foley, so our audiences will be able to see sound being created physically before their very eyes!
