Even Beach Boys wrote "kokomo" when they were like 47, so there is a bit of time left to write some songs of legend and make Zavalaz into a legendary band if thats what Cedric wants to do. Beach Boys were a great band, they wrote alongside advertising "jingle" writers, well no kidding! Those guys were smart. It is largely about the writing at the end of the day but Beach Boys was a rare type of singing. Cedric could try to write some songs like Jimmy Buffet, that would rock too.
This is a good lovesong and a step in the right direction, i think Cedric is doing a great job writing more standard intelligible songs lyrically these days and good for him. TMV breaking up could be a good thing. I would hope that he is able to rock more in the future than this song though.. Channel the mayhem of "whole lotta love" or "rock n Roll" from Zepp, or ACDC songs (all sound the same but Great) this band would be amazing. Easier than "stairway to heaven" I would think.

ACDC lyrics are not that creative I know.. I know they are not, "whole lotta love" isnt that creative either, Bravado. Would be easier I would think to write that kinda stuff.. But seriously their songs were loud and rocked and had a beat and were easy to sing-along to.. totally bad ass. And yes I will buy Zavalaz album too just because its Cedric and everything he writes is wonderful. I wouldnt be mad if he wrote some silly shallow up-beat rock tunes, rocking more is always a good goal

Dude... Cedric could be like Brain Johnson from ACDC or something if he got his act together. Needs more party lyrics and crazyiness all around. You guys are killing me here
