@TheTrialsSweatsAreInMyGame I know, I'm aware. Problem is, when the artifact goes, you'll lose the built in subsistence that we can have for free(depending if u run that artifact mod, obviously). I mean, onslaught does give increased reload speed, and u can run loaders and alloy magazine to negate the reload as much as possible(something I already do) but for most of the community, they don't generally tend to do that. Hence why onslaught now, and then maybe change to subsistence again when we lose the artifact for this season...🤷♂️
All three catalysts are top tier, I’ll give my reasons for why I’m crafting three of them (aside from being too lazy to swap them) Subsistence: Currently not needed due to the artifact, but when that goes away next Act, it will be a top option for consist add clear and magazine uptime. Just great overall. The practical pick, but my least favourite, mainly for enjoyment reasons. Destabilising rounds: honestly I understand people apprehension towards this perk, especially when there are options like Incandescent and Voltshot on normal weapons. It has two factors limiting its power. The cool-down and the fact that after triggering the perk you have to then shoot the volatile targets to get the explosion (which I think is enough of a limiting factor to justify removing the cooldown). There are a few ways to make DSR work well, those being volatile rounds and a triggering perk like dragonfly. What irritates me is the amount of people who say you shouldn’t run both DSR and volatile rounds together, bruh what? Those made volatile by DSR can then have their volatile explosion detonated by the AoE of volatile rounds, thus eliminating one of the weakness of DSR, plus volatile rounds explosions severely fall off in damage in higher end content and DSR just makes it so even more damage is dealt and more AoE occurs. Moving on, dragonfly on weapons like Age-Old Bond and Word of Crota, trigger volatile targets to explode, even if DSR volatile has only just been triggered, which means one headshot can both trigger DSR and detonate it. This synergy is severely limited by the weapons archetypes it’s on, those being a high-impact auto rifle, a 180 handcannon and a slug shotgun. Choir has a similar interaction, with three rapid kills, you both cause a void explosion, that is pretty hefty (don’t know why this isn’t mentioned in the exotic perk description) and a radoloria pool, both of which trigger the volatile denotation. Choir has many advantages over the other weapons that have this interaction, such as not needing a precision kill (dragonfly), actually having high enough damage to kill enemies and trigger DSR plus other enemies effected by DSR volatile(a major weakness of all primary DSR weapons in high end content, but mainly Age-Old Bond, and I would know given that I have about 20k kills over multiple rolls of the weapon), it has plenty of ammo (weakness of the RON pellet shotgun) and is a special, not heavy weapon (weakness of Regnant, Edge Transit, Falling Guilotine and Hammerhead, all of which have DSR, though I would say that the DSR plus Desperate Measures roll is severely slept on, especially on a Verity or Spirit of Verity Prismatic Warlock). End of the day, this will probably be my final pick, especially because DSR is really good for ammo conservation, which we all know is going to be needed when the ammo reserves get nerfed and the artifact reloader goes away. Additionally, something I forgot to mention, if you hipfire into a group of adds, it pretty much immediately trigger DSR detonations, basically 100% consistency if you rock volatile rounds as well. Onslaught: onto the third and final catalyst and the reason why I’ve decided to craft at least one more roll. This is the only decisive catalyst in my opinion. The other two you can’t really go wrong with, either less reloading and more shooting uptime or better ad clear and ammo conservation. Onslaught however is a different beast. I would not suggest using Onslaught if you do not fully understand or know the PvE encounter you are running. This is for a few reasons. 1. You tear through ammo so quickly that if you don’t understand the encounter well enough, it will become a problem, especially with the ammo nerfs. Additionally, minor ads often die with one crit, and it is easy to accidentally shoot one or two additional shots due to the RPM, which will add up overtime. It’s also harder to hit crits consistently due to the RPM increasing your recoil significantly (had to add more stability to my roll, cuz I play controller) and where you could tap fire with the original RPM, doing so wouldn’t allow you take advantage of Onslaught. 2. If you don’t know the spawning times of Majors, Champions and Bosses, then by the time they have spawned, Onslaught might have run out due to its short timer, so you need to keep some ads alive in order to ramp up the perk. If not, then the true power of Onslaught, which is how insane its DPS is on higher health targets is pointless. 3. Special ammo finisher, special ammo finder and ammo scavengers are you best friend when using this weapon, especially with Onslaught and if you don’t know when ads spawn, how many, you might not be able to get enough orbs for the finisher, you might kill all finishable targets, you might not use your primary enough to activate special ammo finder, etc. Where the other two catalysts are good for completing activities completely blind (both figuratively and literally, the weapon is that good), Onslaught peak performance far outweighs them, but has many drawbacks. Gone are the days where you can treat Choir like a primary weapon. However, Onslaughts potential and potency is amazing enough to justify the drawbacks. The Legendary lost sectors have been in Europa yesterday and today, both lost sectors have wyverns. You get my drift? I AM THE DESTROYER OF WORLDS, FEAR MY WRATH AND VENGEANCE FOR THE AMOUNT OF GM RUNS RUINED BY YOUR VERY EXISTENCE, YOU PITIFUL TIN CAN PLATTED ASSES WILL NOT ESCAPE MY INSATIABLE LUST FOR YOUR PAINFUL, EXCRUCIATING, AND LONG OVERDUE DEATHS!!! It’s pretty good against champions as well, with overload auto rifle, you can stun Overloads super quickly where otherwise they’d we able to teleport away. Against Master level Barrier Champions you can kill them so quickly that they are incapable of shielding themselves. And Lost Sector bosses? Don’t make me laugh, their health disappears quicker than my faith in humanity when I open Twitter. Onslaught is good, but has a learning curb and drawbacks which limited it from being one of most lethal champion destroyers we’ve ever had. Second pick and why I’m making another crafted roll. This expansion and first act have brought us some of the best exotics in years and some of the best weapons in years, just wish there was a better story, though the first Act/season after an expansion release is always the weakest and I’d say this is one of the better ones gameplay wise. I mean, whilst this ACT’s story isn’t everyone cup of tea, it’s better than the first season we got last year. Just wish that Bungie had given us more exotic armour than they did this time. I really miss reading the new armour lore tabs.
I reached the part with the mirror and I'm having trouble. When I target the mirror, I hear some cracking sounds, but the target spot on the mirror seems to shift. I've tried over 20 times. Does anyone have any tips? Is there an exact order to the plates that must be followed?
Does anyone know what those knodes in some bigger enemy rooms are good for? Not the ones for the the secret chests. It just says 3 knodes destroyed in some rooms when you shoot them. We saw them this weekend for the first time 🙈
Zero shot Volatile is coming off this weapon for me if you hip fire a single volatile spread shot into a group you can de-life an entire squad of vex with a single round faster rate of fire is not better than that after we lose the pseudo subsistance from the artifact and if you already have volatile i can see subsistance being the go to but I doubt Onslaught will ever be the meta for this weapon especially after the planned nerf. Just max range and recoil direction and slap on volatile and you have the best weapon in the game hip fired for it's class untill it gets the nerf bat... Also the prologue and side mission are both BS and should be able to be done within the same run the idea you gotta run the mission again for like the 6th time had me ain't no waying. I don't understand what Bungie doesn't get with their mission structure feeling stale and boring. Making people literally go through the same mission 15 times instead of lacing things throughout the entirety of the world they have created makes little to no sense. Why do you have all these planets and keep putting every episodes content on one or two of them. Where are the unique game mechanics? Why can't we pilot ships and get in dogfights? Why can't they put a skate park in the game for the hover boards that allows Tony Hawk like tricks? We should have missions that have you literally globe trotting going to every planet more often which would make the world feel like it has depth and breadth as opposed to confined to a simple grind. Many MMO's use this convention to add depth to a story. I'd add they need to tone down the character yapping. If I gotta sit through more long winded dialogue and groaning and sighs from Saint and Osiris again I am going to lose my mind. This isn't the young and the wrestless. It's a galactic space fantasy shooter. Why is the dialogue what you expect from a tween drama WB show and the action is like a John Wick movie? Where is that sas we got from Zavala during the campaign the stakes? Give me Game of Thrones dialogue and John Wick action not corny mush about some character no one knew or cared about that showed up in a random lore dump in one of the games worst expansions.
Im not convinced cross likes this story about magical space lesbos. I know he wants those trips to Washington but stop the cap every season has been a snooze fest since Allison the activist became narrative lead
Don’t say the quiet part out loud. Your reasoning as to why is exactly why people have starwars outlaws good reviews (act man, skillup, Gmanlives, so on)- if you’re getting free hotels and vacations instead of Getting paid to review, you don’t have any money to disclose you were given.
As someone who is a normal guy that does not get content creator privileges, I too have been enjoying this seasons story, specifically from act 2 onwards. People are allowed to like different things, doesn't have to have some deeper meaning.
Allison has only been narrative lead since final shape development every thing pre final shape was already outlined and planned before she got hired a year ago this episode is her only showing so far idk what you mean by every season since but there’s been 1 episode and 0 seasons since she became narrative lead that she would’ve actually been leading

Why do even need Whisper of the Worm to do the time trial? What the hell. It would make more sense to require us to use Choir of One since it's the weapon we get from that mission.
I'm still disappointed the Conductor revealed herself lol. She had so much "aura" when she was an anonymous dark figure with white glows and glitchy music/sounds. So much storytelling wasted. It was fine to reveal her identity but the visual appearance of the dark-faced figure looked so much more menacing tbh and I wish her voice had some sort of robotic echo. C'mon, a conductor like this not having echoing voices or some sort of chorus voice?
Everybody already knew it was either Maya or Chiomi, more evidence for Maya. Literally the only people who didn't know were those who didn't pay attention to the lore at all or were too obvious to notice the massive foreshadowing this whole time... It was painfully obvious and it's insulting for Bungie to try and act like it's some extreme twist nobody saw coming, that and the extreme hand holding they did to try and clarify that yes, this is Maya. This all felt like they can't trust us to understand simple story telling and instead opted to make it even more painfully obvious.

I am honestly just wondering if the Voice actor for Saint was tired of the story lines he was having to read. It's hard to listen to at this point. So it would be interesting to know if it was difficult to record. Lol
honest thought, how would you feel if the narrative team created a storyline in which it is revealed that our guardian has been the winnower all this time?
It has been ten years, and all they provide for a ten year anniversary is an unimpressive armor suit and an emblem. There are no new weapons or anything else. It is clear that Bungie does not care about Destiny 2 anymore. They have been trying to move on to something new for a while now, but it keeps failing. So, they come back to Destiny 2 to keep the core players happy and make more money. Then, they try to start something new again. This has been happening since Destiny 2 was first released. Bungie has a loyal player base for Destiny 2, but instead of focusing on what makes them money, they do the bare minimum and try to move on. I have been playing Destiny since the beta. I have taken breaks and come back a few times, but after their recent announcement that only mentioned one new area, which means we will still be on the same planets we have been on for a long time, I am done for good. The only thing that would have kept me playing is an announcement for Destiny 3 or an expansion that finally takes us to a new galaxy with new planets. The new exotic mission was incredibly boring and stale, its the exact same misson 3 weeks in a row with like 2 nrw enemies each week, the story was boring, it just wasnt anything new from the old season way. Well, it was a good run, but I guess it's time to say goodbye.

We early boys!!!
Destabilizing is by far the best, onslaught is useless on this weapon's mag
Does anyone know what those knodes in some bigger enemy rooms are good for? Not the ones for the the secret chests. It just says 3 knodes destroyed in some rooms when you shoot them. We saw them this weekend for the first time 🙈
Aztecross is toidi again!
yea f**k all that emblem bs. catty and out for me
Same lmao
I feel that but I'm on 2 of 3 and it's basically the same thing just a few extra steps so why not. I already got to go there.
Love there's emblems to chase. Prefer them over titles tbh
Wooty woo
Threw me off a little when you said ikora in the helm... i immediately loaded into the tower for ikora lol
Wait, this is the end of the episode ?
hopefully by next week they fix this broken quest
My question is did they put a node for the damn mission in lfg ffs
its in the other / seasonal section
Fr Destiny is now Gaystiny
@@PuNlisher you do realize that it's been that way for 8 years right. We knew that Devrim Kay and Anna Bray were gay in the first year of destiny 2.
"LASERS!!.......SHARKS!!!.........LASER SHARKS!!!!"
Missed week 1 and 2 now im on week 3 and im so lost
The timer for the secret mission should have been a little less
I hate how convoluted this quest it. Every video I watch keeps referencing things "we did last week" and yet its stuff I've never seen or done before. I wish there was a video that showed EVERYTHING to be done in order, not just saying "oh yeah remember last week?" I guess I don't play as often as I need to.
Are the sword buffs still here 😭
Frl? So I can paint everything with 1k still?!
@@XM8A1nope. They said it was only for last week.
cool i completed it with 4 mins to spare and got nothing!
Ngl, until recent blog posts I had no intention of caring, but now I'm kinda curious to see how this will turn out
Nope, can't bring myself to finish this.
It's basically the same thing as all the weeks before combined if you can't bring yourself to do it you shouldn't have even done the 2 weeks prior.
I can’t do the mission for choir of one I get glitched on the red wall running section and when I close the door I just die there’s no getting past that point how do I fix it
Not fina keep paying ps plus to keep playing this old ass game
No one cares stfu
no one asked
You do have that choice. I don’t know why the fuck you even bother commenting
@@SepticEmpirebro seriously where tf did that come from 😂 some people man. It’s goofy asf that people sit here and bring up there own issues and situations to talk shit about a game. Wtf 💀
I'm still working on the 10th things.... geeze.
My opinion onslaught is the worst of the catalyst 😁👍
Thx
Yall are BRUTAL in these comments 😂
Third* chest.
By the way, I saw watch Esoterrick video, when you play on Solo Encore in Expert difficulty, it was a potential bugged for example like Champions are didn't reacted you even Maya's secret room who didn't interact.
I did the Catalyst puzzle on my first try and didn't receive the catalyst.
Go talk to banshee he will give it you retroactively
Yeah go to Banshee in the tower
@@MrNecro1995Bro that drove me crazy lol. I totally forgot you had to get it from banshee and most videos and articles didnt include it so I really couldnt figure out what I fucked up. Beat it 3 fucking times. Then went back to the tower and realized. Luckily it did autocomplete since I did it already
Azetcros🔥
Why cross sounds so sad
Im over this episode. Zzz. Ready for the next bc that armor looks wicked.
All the mods Unite!
I also love the story this episode, very good.
Bruh you thought this was a good story…. Dora the explorer has a more interesting story narrative
So convoluted
Deeply regretting annual pass purchase
Bro it's the first episode they said it's picking up next episode which it normally always does. Everything will be playable at launch.
Launch seasons tend to be mid. This one reminds me how Season of the Hunt was awful. Next episode looks promising. I hope the gear is good cuz low key, I’m not using any of these seasons weapons besides the Solar Sidearm. They’re all kinda wack
@@thatoneguy2136The Scout Rifle Patron of Lost Causes with enhanced demolitionist and kinetic tremors has been serving me pretty well. Aside from this n the solar rocket sidearm yeah everything else is pretty much trash.

How many years do you think sony will take to make all the weapons craftable? Also, if sony bought Destiny2, why is the controller not given specific adaptations?
the expert completion completely broke for me, super weird. I completed it on expert and it was ticked off, I then claimed the quest on a second character and it WIPED the expert completion from my other character. isnt a big deal I just have to do it again but a super weird bug nonetheless

See you next week 😭
Bye. No one will read your fucking essay and miss you
i know you probably dont care but please somehow give the iron banner title bug thats been happening forever attention to bungie for orimunds taste being stuck at 14/15 so many people are getting screwed

Destiny is the game I hate to love to play. I can’t enjoy the story, when all it ever is, is just awkward relationships that I have no interest in. Daughter and dad, two guys, two girls, the vanguards, brother and sister, you have to do everything to fix them or understand them. I figure, to save us all time, the Guardian absorbs the Traveler and just makes everyone into a gun. There. Story solved.
Hey I here there a better game called warframe 😂😂😂
This mission still isn't as good as most of the other. Iv done it 3 times and I don't really care to do it anymore

Allison has been making it so easy to fall asleep mid mission. Terrible dialogue.
I dont care about the gay lore, but i want that emblem.

At this point it’s just lore
@@marvdatboi being forced to sit through Saint 14 asking Osiris to describe when they first said I love you to each other is not just Lore. Needs to go back to just being mentioned on random weapons.
