17:00 you could have used garunix eternity’s second effect to detach sacred garunix and pop the back row, and then still use fire king island to pop eternity, use eternity’s effect to summon back kirin and garunix own effect to summon back, ending up with the same end board but 1 more back row popped.
I'm pretty sure it would be a different endboard because Garunix's graveyard trigger also counts as a "from hand" special summon trigger, which means you cannot also use Ponix's from hand trigger. And considering he used his normal summon on the barong, he'd be 1 less body on board if he detached.
Edit: Nvm, just special ponix after Garunix's on-summon destroy from deck.

the second duelist was a very skilled player, using his keldo to shuffle back his garura when pak used his dogmatika maximus, a big brain play i never would have thought of!
Sitting down for locals and watching Branded Fusion resolve 34sec later is a whole mood.

What do you think of having magicians souls package in fire kings? Special soul, send black witch to gy, send any 1-2 cards to gy to draw (if need) get out ponix or a way to get fire island. Get Selene, special black witch back. Get spoils card. Get ash, get ponix, use fire island to destroy and get fire king. Special fire king and ponix (no effect) send that elephant to gy, special back ponix. Get the dragon with ash and whatever. Link up into code talker, link summon a bunch of ones, link into Apollusa with up to 4 negates.

Was kind of disappointed to see the wanted engine in the deck seeing as I'm playing this variant specifically because I can't afford that right now but other than that I think this helped me a lot.

So when you go to end phase you get an ecclesia that gets a fleur for an extra negate. It is also an 8.
if the branded chimera player activated coatl in response to the activation of the Fire King sky burn in the first game it would stopped Pak in its tracks

what's the point of playing dogmatika and wanted ? most people watch this video to see the budget alternative and if it could compete without wanted ?
Most people just read video titles and assume it's budget, I read the title and thought maybe I should watch so I could know what to look out for... then when I saw WANTED I was thinking maybe I should try this out. I only pulled 1 WANTED and traded for another when it was around $60 so now I have 2, I might run 2 WANTED, 1 Diabellstar, 1 Original Snake-Eye and a small Dogmatika engine. He makes videos to say and show what he's currently cooking up, I don't think it's to appeal to anyone and should really just be analyzed as a template for players to follow and try for themselves.

The tear player goofed game 2 you never let that Maximus activate. Shoulda used the shuffler to send back a tear Kash and trigger field spell to pop. That would have sealed it. Also did he only play one Martin?!

I'm soooo mad. In the last duel, game 3, the Pile Player should've revive Accel synchron and not Rev synchron with his Baronne. And then Accel was able to quick sync into the same Baronne.

This ruling only applies to cards that can potentially summon themselves from hand. Because Arvata is the other card being activated here, this is a legal play.

Draco Berserker is not a quick effect monster effect that negates activations and that's why it cannot activate in damage step
Garunix is a trigger effect and trigger effects may activate in the damage step if their conditions are met

In Game 1 at 17:15, what effect did he use to special summon ponix? That was a missplay for that to be able to be special summoned right? I think he confused it with Populus maybe? Probably didn’t make much of a difference but he wouldn’t have been able to normal summon Barong

I mean chixiao only negate the monster effect until end of the turn so probably it’s next turn so the typhon effect is still alive and that mean all monster above 3000k effect got negated which mean he indeed can’t use baronne to negate nadir during that turn.

it was the same turn. Ty attack chixiao, chixiao banish to negate on attack dec, neg ty effects so barrone can be activated to negate nadir. But it looks like Pak said you can’t cuz of Ty

you're better off playing pure Fire Kings tbh. The dogmatika engine really isn't worth it.

@@ruckerdagoat4331 yeah. It doesn't actually raise the ceiling of the deck, just more consistency. But with 3 ponix, 2 island and 3 sanctuary, and maybe a "One for One" you should have enough consistency already.
Nadir just prevents you from link plays at all, which really doesn't help.

I'd like to watch the dogma version without the sinful spoils package to see a pro player doing it, i cannot afford it since in my country it costs a kidney ;-;
imo for budget option, pure fireking is better than dogmatika anyway. max out on the good fireking names + original sinful spoils and tenki, and you can pretty much always end on amblowhale. dogmatika gets you ponix more consistently, but also way fewer disruptions when youre locked out of the extra deck.
@@shucklecopter8271 they made the original be expensive too, in my country, if a card is cheap in the set, someone buys it out and then the card reappears costing 10x, 20x more
