For a very long period of time most of the world's ships have carried bulbous bows, they were always thought to help a vessel achieve better speed, less fuel consumption and hence run in profit. But ... the love for bulbous bow is slowly fading and the newly built vessels mostly don't have a bulbous bow. Sir, You have great skill of explaining complex things in very simple way in a easy, flowing language.
As some ships have stabilizer fins, which can be extended or retracted as per needs, can the bulbous bow fitted with some mechanism which can sense the speed of the ship and the opposing force and then extend or retract itself accordingly? Just some food for thought.
We dont really need bulb itself, we just need the wave it's creating. And we can create waves with airblast or water pumps... Some more food for thoughts )

Great video sir, just a quick question. If they're not installing the Bulbous bow anymore, the problems that were present prior to installing the Bulbous bow would be present again? Are there any alternatives to it that is in place?

No dear. They're not. Ships are bigger and their bows are sufficient. However some companies are still installing BB on their ships. Specially the small ones.

Destructive interference of the two generated wave can be achieved at different speeds if the length of the bulbous can be varied accordingly. This is just a food for thought. I can discuss details if you are interested.
