I'm just curious. H3PO4 is phosphoric acid, and phosphoric acid is a relatively strong acid. I don't understand how you can assume that it will dissociate 1st, 2nd and 3rd time. Are you just using this as an example, or would it be more correct to calculate the PO4 concentration in the solution at equilibrium. I find that hard because phosphoric acid has like 3 Ka values.
the solution is completely wrong , H3PO4 dissociated in three stages !! H3PO4(H+) +(H2PO42-) 1st stage with k1=7.5x10-3 so you must calculate the concentration of the (PO4)-3 coming from H3PO4 dissociation
It was great. She turned out to be an amazing person and we had lots of fun.
chemistNATE
In the protection of God 👏👏👏
Ohh wait so you werent kidding about the date?🤣
yikes 6 years ago...im a bit late huh?
big up my guy
I am so glad to hear this
So did you really have a date? That was too funny. It was awesome.
sometimes....
From someone who struggles with chem, thank you for helping me understand this gibberish called chemistry!
"Oooo I got a text message" lol
"looks like I've got a date tonight" omg I couldn't stop laughing
This is so much better than my chemistry teacher! It makes so much more sense now. Thank you so much!
i was so confused on this topic before I watch your video. I wasted so many hours trying to solve a problem. you really save my life. 😚😚😚😚😘
that text comment made me subscribe lmao
Yess ! I get it. I had a really hard time with my homework, because our teacher always gives us the easiest examples.... So thank herefor :)
You're a huge ass boss, Nate
1:10 can someone help me understand please? Why does the 0.1M of H3PO4 equal 0.1M of PO4??
Good thing i kept on digging until i find this gold.
Nice work teacher ChemistNATE
broo..u forgot to add the exponent.. answer should be 2e^29/0.27 =7.4e-29 ^ (1/5) =2.4e-6 M Ca3+ /3=7.9e^-7 M Ca3(PO4)2
Great video fam
This man just saved my brain LOL I thank you genuinely.
when we assume that 2x is very small due to Ksp being very small, why do we not neglect the 3x as well?
oh nvm, I guess its just cause the 0.1 will be more significant for that term.
Yes that is correct. The 2X is only “insignificant” relative to the 0.1. Great comment !
Great . I love your videos. These are helpful.
i hope your date went well
8 years later, did the date pay off to something long term?
The answer is no, but you can't win if you don't play the game !!!
Dude in undergrad chem was so hard and i never thought to use youtube now im studying for my mcat and holy cow was i an idiot in undergrad
1:16 why 0.1 but not 0 like where did 0.1 come from is it because of the common ion YOU ARE A LEGEND.

Sorry, Phosphoric acid is a quite weak acid.
Ksp and Ka are super different
Do you have to take into account that H3PO4 is an acid? I don't feel that phosphoric acid will disassociate completely.
H3PO4 is a strong acid so I think it would completely disassociate
H3PO4 is not a strong acid s a weak acid. Remember there are only 6 strong acids, HCL, HI, HCLO4, HNO3, HBr, and H2SO4
Ksp and Ka are very different things!
Thank you so much.
You are very helpful, keep making videos please!
Sheldon?
I wish chemistnate were my chem teacher.
Partying at 8:43am watching your videos lol xD

+takkis Nassiopoulos H3PO4 isn't present in this equation
Ksp and Ka aren't the same thing...
This guy is cool... Have fun at the party my man.
Thank you so much for this help :)
Thank you!!!!!
How’d your date go
Hi Mr. Ng
Thank you
You are so great. Thank you

AMAZING :D
NATHAN QUIT MAKING YOUR CHEMISTRY VIDEOS AND COME UPSTAIRS FOR SUPPER. THE MEATLOAF IS GETTING COLD. YOUR JUST LIKE YOUR FATHER
thank you
