I feel like it’s the Joker inside Batman that’s playing games with him.
I agree, or at least Batman getting at himself
It is, his Joker side is starting to manipulate scarecrows toxin to attack Bruce's mentality by showing him, Jason because Bruce blames himself for Jason's "death"
@@The-No-one Joker is dead so no Joker has no part in any of it. It’s mostly Batman’s Inner that’s making him see all that bc of scarecrows Toxin; yes he sees Joker but that’s bc his brain is pairing Joker with tragedy bc that’s what he’s most known for instead of Batman seeing himself for example.
@@Doors2PerceptionNo.. Batman was infected with Jokers Blood and because they weren't the same blood type he was dying quickly. He got the cure for the blood disease but not for Jokers blood in his system. The fear gas brought out his fear that he would become Joker.
@@thepanthion That's correct, but Batman has no Joker in him except his blood. The Joker has no action over Bruce, it's all himself.
this game never gets old i swear
I'm going to take this as Bruce's hyper-perceptive detective brain's unconscious side trying to tell him that it's putting the clues together for the Arkham Knight to be Jason. Because the timeline doesn't line up but he suspects that the AK was watching him in Arkham city. Kind of like when your dreams give you little bizarre hints towards things that your conscious mind hasn't fully realized yet.
Bro the developers really know our moves 💀(And omg I didn't know this comment would be that liked lol)

I think everything Batman sees of the Joker is accurate. He knows the Joker so well that's why every line sounds like he's right there. Batman's subconscious has taken form of the Joker in the most accurate way possible
In Batman VR you can actually see the footage that joker sent to Batman because it wasn’t all in his head they were memories and this is what the joker was showing
Isn't the events of Arkham VR also in Batman's mind?
If you look closely he has no ears that’s Man not Joker
I remember one TH-camr said “How can Batman know exactly how Barbara was shot by Joker if he wasn’t there when it happened?”same situation is here
This isn’t in Batman’s head. This is from a video Joker sent him that we’re seeing from a different angle because we can walk around. This is what Bruce saw on camera.
Since when? When was that confirmed?
@@wiggardin the game when Jason first reveals himself Batman says joker sent me the film, I saw him kill you
@@bigmeaty_custard4572with that, you could think Batman was only saying that because that’s the most logical explanation without giving away his mental/emotional weakness at that point in time
@@justinames9249theres a whole comic, Jason Todd was tortured for a year and a half
@@zaicrafbut is it connected to the animated series as the Arkham games are
Little Side note. In Arkham City Robin wears a Suit with short Sleeves. While in the Arkham Knight Dlc with Batgirl, which even takes place before Arkham Asylum, he is wearing his upgraded Suit from Arkham Knight.
He can have many suits in his wardrobe, right?
and is bald though that canonically happens when he goes undercover in arkham city
@@katiemaximoff2232 Some things were obviously not thought through to the End in that dlc. However, still a great Game. Replay it like every Year.
@@sultaa86 yea it would have made more sense if it was Jason or maybe even just putting nightwing, since Jason was robin by the time Barbara was still active as batgirl Tim drake was robin by most likely post Arkham asylum
They aren’t hallucinations they are jokers memories cause Batman is infected and turning into joker and scarecrows fear toxin amplified it
I think why they used this picture is because in the comics joker shows Jason he got replaced to enhance his feelings towards Batman finding a new Robin.
Joker sent Batman tapes. It's not "in his head", this is what actually happened.
The picture can't be seen from Joker's camera angle
@@Fuck_handles I'm not talking about the photo 🙄
Joker only sent him the snuff film
The only tape he sent was where he “killed” him, there’s no camera present for any of the other scenes
Your brain didn’t comprehend anything he said 🤦🏾♂️
These small details make Arkham franchise much better and more complex, Rocksteady did an excellent job with these games.
the idea that while your playing arkham city jason is lurking around following you but you never see him is kinda thrilling
i wanna say the picture was intentional because you actual get to see that picture as batman somewhere in the world and has an obvious knife directly stabbing batman so he would put two and two together even tho it doesn’t really make sense (idk makes sense to me)
Exactly what I thought too. Batman saw it somewhere in the world and since he was hallucinating his brain just put that specific picture in there.
@@dylanshadrach2015Which is still weird because the picture shows up after the Jason cutscene, and after the Jason bossfight. So did he just take an exact mental picture of that moment and used it in his hallucination?
That picture is in the militia HQ, which you don't even have access to until much after this hallucination so that doesn't make sense
No it makes sense because thats when jason would realize hes truly been replaced and thats when batman would have connected the dors as the worlds greatest detective
Everything involved with joker is just how Bruce imagined it would play out there’s some people who actually think it’s jokers real memories💀
The Arkham city suits are perfect
I don’t know why Jason didn’t just shoot him there
According to the Arkham Knight's audio files, he wanted Batman to feel pain and then die, reason why he went with scarecrow, so batman could be tortured, humiliated, and just then, killed. It was in the middle of the game when Jason changed his mind and decided to just kill him
@@danieleduardocastillomonto4574typical Jason Todd. exact reason why Joker captured him lmao.
Will it actually be that easy for Jason to just shoot Batman?
@danieleduardocastillomonto4574 one of the flaws with knight is how inconsistent Jason's motives are... he says he just want batman dead but there is several opportunities for him to kill him but he never does
@@ARW11221 I mean, his first appearance is in the helicopter trying to kill him but being stopped by Scarecrow. It is only after the Cloudburst destruction that they part ways and the Knight gets more active in the killing Batman thing. It's not that he didn't want to, it's that he had to follow Scarecrow's plan
Mostly accurate but I'm probably gonna seem like a nerd here but the torture scene is probably accurate due to the fact that the joker is in his head and still has his own memories so he's just showing batman that
Honestly I think a lot of what we see happen to Jason in the flashbacks Batman sees are actually what happened, as Batman is the worlds greatest detective, so upon seeing the film of Jason’s death he likely could have reconstructed a probable set of events and dialogue between the two that were most likely have led to the creation of the marks and scars he saw on Jason during the film
Good points tbh I’m impressed
Actually that is how Jason Todd time with Joker went. Batman doesn't begin to hallucinate about until Joker brings him up unprovoked. What's happening is either that the prion can pass along Joker's memories, or the spirit of Joker is haunting Bruce.
Exactly!!! till this day I keep explaining to people that Bruce was only THINKING on what happen that day he doesn’t know what ACTUALLY happen to Jason
But it is how the scene played out. Batman mentions to Jason that Joker sent him the film, meaning it was from memory.
My one of few gripes with the Arkham games is that Origins takes place 10 years before asylum. Like, it should at least take place like 20-25 years before Asylum. That makes much more sense.
And would line up with the time frame of most Batman media. It usually shakes out to about 20-25ish years of career to account for everything like Robins and whatnot
No. If Batman was in his late 20s in Origins, 25 years later would be too fucking late for Asylum.
@@wiggard yes, because he looks too old to be in his thirties. He (to me) looks like he should be in his early forties in asylum-knight
In Arkham Asylum, after the door where you find Gordon dead(due to the fear toxin), if you turn left and continue to the end of the hall, there is a barricated door with chains hanging around it and the walls look so similar to the floor in the torture scenes. It's likely where Jason was tortured.
For a second, i thought Batman didn't have the bat ears on his cowl in that picture...
*man in ham city confirmed?*
I mean it could be a connection knowing Arkham’s attention to detail, but it could just be a reused asset
That makes sense
Bruh why is nobody talking about that fact that the joker isn’t sick.. meaning those events took place before Arkham city, jason was in the asylum..the torture was during Arkham asylum and that moment with Bruce and tim.. was while joker was sick in Arkham city..so how did joker get a picture of a moment that hadn’t happen yet?
That's what I was saying in the video, the picture is most likely nothing more than a place holder because it doesn't make sense timeline wise
maybe it's a way to show that Batman feels guilty for quickly finding a replacement for the old Robin, as the events take place in his head
I knew this. When I was making some joker pov shots. Turned out well.
Plus I think it’s odd joker and Jason have now camera collision in these flashback scenes,
but joker durring the killing joke flashback does have collision. 🤔
There’s a theory that it’s more than just a “fake in Batman’s mind joker” and the actual real joker for real, stuck in Batman’s mind
That same photo is stabbed onto a wall by Jason meaning he probably took that photo and was spying on Batman since Arkham City maybe even Arkham asylum
It turns up because it appears as set decoration in Arkham Knight's offices throughout the city. Batman has been subconsciously pondering it. The Joker persona happens to live in the same place the picture is stored.
“All in his head” yeah so is joker lmfao
Batman hallucinated the picture cuz he subconsciously felt someone took one
I think the photo is more to signal batman feeling guilty about replacing "jason"
jonkler
I did this multiple times but never thought of it
Joker is in batmans head and sent the torture tapes to batman. He watches them a lot before finding Jason if I remember
It's also possible that Batman knew about how Jason was tortured, and that Joker used A photograph, but Batman doesn't know what was on the photograph, so he filled the details in with a scene where he knows that he and Tim were together in a plausible angle a photo could be taken from, which just so happens to have matched perfectly with an actual photograph that existed in the world.
I dont think these scenes all took place in Batman's head. We know for certain the final scene was filmed, but there is a high probability that Joker was filming everything and sending it to Batman along the way.
this is interesting, good work
Actually, even though it was in Batman's head...it was based on the video Joker sent Batman of Jason being "executed". So that part of it is probably accurate.
I doubt its the same as city, jason being still under torture during city events feels too late
An asset (that you’re not even meant to be able to see) isn’t an Easter egg.
For those who didnt inow that there was camera mode:if you dont update the game you dont have the camera mode,i think
Its actually implied that the jokers memories really did get somewhat transferred to batman. Like heavily implied. By a lot of different factors.
Also Joker was sick and dying during this time, but you could say that's the hallucination Joker filling in rather than City joker, I've no clue.
Even weirder is that you can take photos of Jason’s toture
Buddy the hallucinations were in fact real he had the jokers blood mixed with his slowly eating away at his own psyche, literally the same shit tht was happening in cyberpunk
Batman had the joker in him so there was a piece of joker that was still alive that remembered how it played it and probably reimagined it for Batman just to torture him
Not how it works.
Don’t forget the water tower he was on was out of frame during the cutscene
We did get an issue with Joker and batman. From arkhamverse. Its said Joker kept Jason for a year while batman searched for him only to kill him and be brought back.
Old Arkham blows up and Jason dives into the elevator ditch.
Jason didn't die in the arkham verse
jason escaped with deathstroke's help
Jasons hate towards Tim is very unfair in my opinion because Batman didnt plan on getting another Robin and took Tim in because Tim tracked him down and begged to be Robin
jason didn't know that until later though
why is batman hallucinating something he didn't know happened
Ayer fam these Devs gone learn to respect lure and detective work😂😂😂
I think there’s a part of Bruce that suspected Jason was the Arkham Knight and just couldn’t accept it. Because it means two things: he failed Jason and he’s betrayed by Jason. Only someone who worked so closely with him as Batman would know him that well and they’re very limited. 😢
I did this the first time I played it and I had no idea it was arkham city, I thought I was the only one who did that😅
I mean.... don't Joker and Batman share the same memories since he's in him?
It was probably just a reused asset that got their point across.
The Arkham knight genesis comic miniseries have the same scene but with a different picture
The amount of detail and planning that went into these games is honestly insane
Actually. I do believe these scenes actually did play out like that and joker is showing Batman what actually happened. And you can't say joker is unreliable as he actively says I don't remember saying things when he never said them.
Joker needs to brush his teeth 😭
OR!!! Batman know that someone watch him
My guess its just a replacement cause thwy couldn't be bothered to make a new one better than a plain paper
Jason's torture could have taken place after Arkham Asylum during Arkham city because Jason mentioned that the asylum was abandoned while he was abducted, joker could have taken a picture or had Harley Quinn, or someone take it for clay face to further torture Jason under the disguise of Joker. hones theory
I love how in most games we break down every lil thing every lil pixel there is...... bit then after just say how stupid that could be and simple it really is
It really doesn’t matter how it played out, the facts are that Jason was kidnapped for 6 months, and during does 6 months, Tim Drake was indoctrinated as Robin. The photo doesn’t make sense. It’s clearly from Arkham City, which was a photo taken years after Jason’s torture and even if it was a photo taken by Jason, that is a piece of knowledge that was not given to Batman. But the idea that Jason was missing for half a year is honestly ridiculous and heartbreaking. Your telling me Joker and Harley Quinn were off the radar for 6 months and torturing a young Jason Todd? Who by the way, in the official comic, Quinn named him? And Harley Quinn gets to be the one who offs batman in the official Arkham verse? and you fuxking kidding me? Joker’s slow and painful death was so satisfying to see, but Quinn deserves way worse and she gets to kill Batman after torturing his son. That’s crazy. That’s why i will never support another Rocksteady game again. They completely crapped into Batman’s legacy in every way.
In the remastered version of Arkham city if you go in photo mode you can see him
and did you know when joker has the camera after this you can actually see he's watching the video?
This isn't entirely true, as in the Arkham Knight's HQ we can see this exact picture on a wall with a knife on Batman, this photo we see here may have just been a placeholder for the game and or a little easter egg.
and this 'said' photo can be seen after the main story is complete, proving that this photo must have been taken and not a figment of Bruce's mind.
That's literally exactly what he said lmao
Lmfao you didn't watch the fucking video. You're lame.
I like thia game is amazing. Very realistic graphic and a lot of twist.
Or simple answer it’s just a placeholder
I think that exact picture shows up later in the game
If u go to Wayne tower and read one of the messages one of them is from batwoman
Did you know, when Arkham Knight was being promoted before launch, there was a huge number of fresh Batman fans who were convinced the Arkham Knight was going to be Damian Wayne? And if you suggested it was Jason Todd they got super duper pissed?
Or a better reason as to why the photo is in batmans head is because in his own physci he fealt guilty for moving on and replacing jason
But Batman is the worlds best detective wouldn’t his best guess be the most accurate
I wish Jason took Robin and then you saw the interaction between them with robin basically telling him he got it wrong cuz Batman handled it badly icl
Im pretty sure batman was not hallucinating the torture jason went through, Im pretty sure joker made tapes of what he did and left them for batman, sort of like he did when he pretended to kill Jason
Nope. Joker only sent the one where he killed him.
I don’t think so because it’s supposed to be jokers memories since he was becoming batman
Arkham city was when joker was sick
Red Hood did all of this. Just join batman again because batman no diff him and he was scared
While it is a scary story a creature that is eating blue whales would really not put the effort into trying to eat humans as well
My opinion is Batman is suffering mental issue from the disease Joker gave him and Scarecrow's toxin, which cause him to create living nightmare from every information he know, including the picture we are talking about.
this pic is there becuz he remembers he “replaced” him with tim n batman has regrets that these happened to jason
Knight is the only one I haven’t played
It’s worth the playthrough, great end to the series
It is a very good time. It can get a little repetitive at some points, but DEFINITELY worth a playthrough if you like Batman.
good job. Now don't play it cause its trash
@@BullyHemsworthno it's not
No that scene is canon. You would know if u played arkham vr
Arkham VR is a hallucination dumbass
Also cause during that time Joker was in the middle of dying.
Awesome
How was it in his head? Weren’t all of those hallucinations just recordings sent to Batman or something
Yeah but it wasn’t too different from the hallucination it happened the same just it wasnt only Joker
Or thats the only picture batman remembers so he used it as a filler in his own mind
