Elly is home!

On Wednesday night, June 12, "Ellie" was lethargic, not eating, and having trouble breathing. We rushed him to the emergency vet. Turns out he has heart failure. The amazing vets stabilized him, but he has a long road ahead. When he went to the vet, we thought he was a "she" but the vet said that he was a boi! We are keeping his name, but changing the spelling.
Elly will need ongoing care. If you feel called to help contribute to his care, we would be so grateful! He is part of a trio we adopted and his two sisters battled (and are cured of!) FIP. It's been an expensive journey for all three of them.
