Okay. Listen, friends~ Sha Po Lang is amazing. If you enjoy historical ft. steampunk novels with a love story to die for and amazing character development, this is for you.
From the novel to the audio, you cannot ask for anything better. I first learned about SPL by coming across this trailer (thank you Bánh Trôi!). I looked up for the story and instantly fell in love. There is also an amazing translator team, the Northwest Flower, who works SUPER hard to give us beautifully translated work. The first audio drama episode is free, but you will need to pay a bit to listen the rest. There are 3 seasons in total, but they are really cheap! Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video.

You have to read it! I don’t know if you’ve read it by now, but it’s very good. Although it’s very heavy in politics, they’re important and the amazing story will compensate.

i have a hard time figuring out the time period they are going for. Steam punk would be more industrial period, i'm expecting army clothing? how come their clothes are still wuxia like?
