Cari you are a lovely and generous aunt, when your baby is born it will all come back to you and baby.
Although we are not Japanese we practice girls day boys day and omiyage, well omiyage is really an Asian thing and we are Asian.
When you are in hawaii we embrace so many cultures. So on girls or boys day, I not only buy for my grandkids but I also buy for my adult kids or I give money. Because it is so much fun to have this celebration and to give, as a mother you will soon learn that.
Because my grandkids are still young when I give girls or boys day gifts I have to give the other or they will cry.
I use to love oyaku donburri until my friend told me it meant mom and child, I guess thinking of chicken and egg turned me off.
Shucks why did she tell me that lol.
Cari you have a beautiful family, you are blessed to have them, and they are blessed to have you.
Your baby will be so loved by all.
    Thanks for a terrific video

Love the stamps! You have such a calming voice; your baby will be so soothed by your calm demeanor. Boys Day -> we buy the arare & chocolate stuff from Don Quijote or Daiso, lol! Fly that fish flag too!
