Happy new year to you and family!!! Thanking you for sharing recipes for JAPANESE TRADITIONS. I am trying to teach my son to carry on some of the foods i loved whenever i go to friends house. You cant find too many these days. I’m not Japanese but still look forward to keep encouraging him to learn more. His reply usually is… you do it better mom
Happy New Year Cari! Thank you for sharing your traditions. Very similar to our traditions. Got to eat my Dad's ozoni and nishime. I showed my Dad your vlog while I was at home and told them your Grandma was from the Big Island. He said he remembers your Grandma as he was born on the Big Island as well.
I miss those foods you’re cooking.Your grandmas a cutie pie.OMG the grocery store by my house is selling Portuguese sausage mild only, so I’m making Portuguese Bean soup.Too bad you can’t slide some through the computer screen.Tron’ish😉They sell mochi here in the Asian stores all kinds of flavors. That’s great the kiddos learn how before it turns into a dieing Art.Happy New Year🥰😘Love you all.
Wow, all the food you folks prepared sure looked great! Your dad’s mochi maker has me wanting one too! Can you use it to make other mochi treats too? I picked up some kinako because we haven’t had kinako mochi for a long time - I didn’t know about adding salt, will have to add some. Thank you for sharing your family’s traditions❣️
