Insanely helpful! The party menu is very clunky to navigate, and I keep getting stuck healing the wrong party member since the purple highlight often doesn't follow the cursor. My workaround was usually to let go off all buttons/triggers, stand still for a split second and try again. I suspect the game takes a second to decide between friendly/enemy targets, so if you're still actively attacking enemies, it gets stuck on the wrong member. This fix just bypassed all of that!
Thank you for this. I had gotten used to using the reticle to target teammates and then hitting circle to cancel on them to switch to someone else. Couldn't do the L2 and dpad anymore.
