    Every time I see a CPU liquid cooler, it gives me nightmares of the end of 2015 when I did my build (which turned into a total quagmire) which I included a liquid cooler.

    • @DarkSaw1212
      @DarkSaw1212 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most AiO`s have warranty if some liquid comes out, but custom made liquid cooling can be dangerous i think

    • @wingman-1977
      @wingman-1977 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It just was a nightmare connecting it to the case. Not to mention the build would power on for a bout 15 sec then power off. Turn on for 15 seconds, then power off. It got to the point that I just gave up and returned everything. I took a $426 hit since the CPU and GPU weren't refundable (bought them @ newegg I got a gift card for $926 and sold it to my friend for $500). That's one of the reasons I bought a pre-build rig this time around (PowerSpec G313 from microcenter) www.powerspec.com/systems/system_specs.phtml?selection=G313

    I can respect the i5 6600K I really can but at $1500 it almost seams like it makes sense to get a 6700K, 7700 or 7700K i7 for the hyperthreading. Maybe it is because I am not just a gamer but hyperthreading helps SOOO much outside of gaming, and if you ever want to dive into video editing or even just dip your toe in, that hyperthreading is worth it. Of course you can always buy a new CPU later but for me the "I can buy a new CPU later" thought comes in on a build under $1K

      Pierre Visconti Best ones? No brand is flawless... The best brand is the one that offers best customer support and in my country those "top 3" are the worst in customer support.
      Thats why i like Zotac, Evga and Palit... they make sure that customer support and service are same for every country.

    never seen or even heard of a riser.
    I understand the purpose of the riser but what practicable use does it serve besides displaying the GPU.

    • @TheOfficialCzex
      @TheOfficialCzex 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Deadlylyon15 That's it. It moves the GPU away from the motherboard. Usually used for display purposes or for hardware restrictions.

      @TN-qk8jf 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have a question on the placement of the pump/cold plate. I have the same unit (the white version) and I am actually planning another build with this one actually with the same motherboard too, weird. When I installed mine I followed the videos on deepcool website and mounted the pump at a 90 degree angle from the way you did in this build. Are both positions "correct", or is one preferable to the other?

    If I buy this, how long will it last me before I stoop to Intel Hd Graphics Levels with cpu powers of like... a dual core (4 thread) i7? Because this is really temping, but I don't know if I should get it. But it will last me a while. But I don't know if I should get it...

    Pcpartpicker says this The motherboard M.2 slot #1 shares bandwidth with SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports. When the M.2 slot is populated, two SATA 6Gb/s ports are disabled.
    is that true?? and if so what other motherboard is similar to this keep in mind its my first build ever.

    Fun build. Are there significant advantages with using an M2 vs SSD?

      I think they are supposedly extremely fast.

      Fluffyguy958 Only NVMe ones. They have M.2 SSDs with same speeds as SATA 3 SSDs which is the one he used in the video. Not worth using your M.2 slot if you use the slower one tbh, unless you really care about cable managment.

    First time builder do I need a wireless adapter as I don't have a Ethernet cable? Also is their a way to get Windows operating system for free to low price? This is a budget build so I don't really have much money to be spending on extras.

      Officer Barbrady
      For wifi you have three options
      1) wireless adapter( convenient)
      2)wifi pcie card( best connectivity)
      3) get a motherboard with built in wifi

    Does someone knows if the fan on the rear of the case (the one with red corner) is already given by the case or he add it? 'Cause I'm gonna buy a very similar pc build and i just wanna know if the rear fan is exactly that. Then i would like also ask you is i should buy other fan like 2 pack of corsair as120mm (2 in a pack) to replace the fan rear and to put other 3 fan on the front side? if yes, would you suggest me which color should i get? should i picj the red led, to make everything glow red, or i should get the white led to make everything shine in a good white light? thanks
