Thank you so much for this video. I am new to paracording and this will make things so much easier! I really like the versatility of it as well.
That's pretty cool man. Thanks for the video

You are very welcome if you have any questions feel free to ask any time..
Oh Ok, Thanks for stopping by.. Come on back any time.. ;o}
great vid n great jig thank you for taking the time to explain everything i hope mine comes out as well
LOL that's great that I could help buddy. If you have any questions feel free to ask ok..
The jig by it self is $35.00 as long as you live in the US. I all so have a Starter kit that runs $55.00. If you live out of the US just add $10.00 more for shipping
those pins look like something for auto body work but hell 300 for 99 cents i woulda grabbed them too
can you tell me the best place to get the buckles from?
Hello Nate, The answer to your questions is yes and no. The length of the bracelet will be 9 inches but depending on what knot you use will determine weather it will fit a 9 inch wrist. That is why I make all my bracelets in 4 sizes only. S,M,L & XL. By making them this way you only have to set your jig to the size you want to make and them and not have to worry about costume sizes. I hope this helps..
Oh no worries buddy, It is what you tube is all about learning and helping one another. But yes I did think of the bolt but I decides not to mess with it because when you are using the jig it isn't resting on a table. It is usually one end resting on your chair and the other end resting on a table or something to that matter. The bottom of the jig isn't touching anything unless you are laying it down. Any how thank you for your comments and advise.. By the way welcome aboard..
when you set it up the right way it will all be zeroed so when you put the buckles on it you just move your slide to the size you want and it will make that size. I hope this is coming out clear.LOL Click on my name and it will take you to my main page there you will find my paracord playlist and in this list is a video that shows you how to set your jig up. I hope this helps..
It all depends on the knot you use. If you are using the cobra knot you will add a 1/2 inch to the length. If you are making a 5 inch bracelet you need to set your jig for 5 1/2. If you are doing the double cobra you will need to set it at 3/4 to 1 inch. I hope this helps..
Glad I could help my friend.. As for the collars and belt I have never made a belt but I make collars all the time and I use the king cobra knot. I have a video in my play list may be that will help ya.. Good luck..
Thank you, If you have any questions feel free to ask away. If you look through my paracord playlist there is a even easier jig to make. It will show you from beginning to end how to make it.. ;O)
@Buddy1306 I'm glad you liked the video. If your wrist is say 9" just add another 1/2" to an 1" to the core. I'll send you a link to a video that might help you with what you need..
Sure thing I get my stuff off ebay. If you buy them from paracord websites or stores they coast 50 cents or more I get mine between 17 & 19 cents each. I'll send you some links..
Glad I could help. There are other jigs videos in my play list that will walk you throw the sets in making a jig. If you have any question feel free to ask. Thanks for watchin..
You are very welcome, I do have another one that is way easier to make. If you would like to see the video it is in my playlist on my featured page in my paracord playlist..
Thank you my friend, There are other jigs videos in my play list that will walk you throw the sets in making a jig. If you have any question feel free to ask.. ;O)
The 5/8 is a bigger buckle and it fits the king cobra bracelet better than the 3/8 does. Plus it is a better buckle for dog collars. Thanks for watching.. ;o)

Hello Jack. My pocket pal is only 15 inches long with a 11 inch working space. If your doing 18 to 20 you might as well just do the full size..
Thank you buddy.. Have you seen the common mans jig? It is easier to make.. Take a look and see what you think. Thanks for the support.. ;o)
Thank you my friend, Now I know what to tell people from now on.. But if you are wnting pins just use a 1/8 finishing nail..
I do not make my bracelets to fit people it is to hard to get it just right. I'll send you a video explaining what I do..
If you are doing the double cobra you will need to set it at 3/4 to 1 inch longer on the jig.
@LeonardLeather Thanks Leonard, I hope it clears up a few questions I had from others..LOL
I'm throwing my jig in the woodstove and making one like yours....Subbed !.....
I'll send you a even easier and better one.. Look in your inbox..
Glad I could help.. If you have any questions feel free to ask..
Thanks if you have any questions feel free to ask.. ;O)
I make all my bracelets S 7 1-2 M 8 1-2 L 9 1-2 & XL 10 1-2
The slider doesn't rotate because of the modified washer?
I'm experimenting with a couple of jigs. Instead of screwing into the wood to secure the cable clamps, I'm using t-nuts and thumb screws to make swapping out buckles easier.
The t-nuts also allow screw post extenders (/bolts/whatever) to be secured for braiding, fobs, etc.
Love your vids, Coop. I'm a 63-year-old female fan new to paracording. Good, practical, and fun stuff! : )
Hey there outstanding video and presentation. I am trying to raise money for my MC club who supports multiplele veterans causes and this seem like a low overhead type of project I may be able to use for fundraising. Do you have advise on who are the best suppliers for the paracord and buckles? Also lengths of cord per inch, depending upon project, is there any reference material.
i noticed b4 you showed how ud used 2 washers that the jig was rocking about slightly where the bold head and other washer protrude slightly from the bottom of the jig you probably already thought of this but couldn't you route out a channel along the length of the jig so it all sits firm when on a flat service instead of rocking about slightly. not trying to be an hater just thought of it as a suggestion in case you hadn't already thought of it this video just made me comment rate and subscribe
I was wondering if you could send me on of those. I am a soldier in Afghanistan and I make the bracelets to give to the Afghan children I pick up. I am a UH-60 MEDEVAC Helicopter CrewChief/Gunner. We pick up injured Afghan children often. I just ordered the clips. If you could I would really appreciate it.
I can't wait to build one of these. It's been so hard to get measurements right up till now. I have found that if you make the bracelets exactly the lengthy of the person's wrist, it ends up too tight because of how fat the cobra stitching is. Do you have some sort of guide that would help know how much to add? I find a quarter inch at least is good-ish...
Coop, good vid. I got a couple of ideas. I may make a second jig for smaller projects or to take with me. What are the lengths that you suggest? I may want to makeone really long for dog leashes, belts etc. A short to go and one for bracelets (18-20 inches). Thanks again
no sure if you covered it or if someone already asked it.. (didnt read all the comments) Now I made one of these.. I see all the numbers and stuff you did on the jig.. how do you know where to but the slider to make a bracelet (w a 3/8" buckle).. mine always seem to small
Wish I would have seen your video sooner. It totally motivated me to take this up as a hobby, I want to make some dog collars and maybe a belt. What kind of weave do you prefer or is best for those kind of project??? Thank U Sir! And keep up the great videos!!!
When measuring for a 8 inch bracelet do you include the buckle in the measurement on the jig? Or do you compensate for the buckles which could add up to be an extra inch by extending the jig to 9 inches instead of 8. Does that make sense?
Hey mr. Coop I got one question for ya. How much would I be if ya made me one jigs cause ya see my uncle a cop and I make the thin blue line bracelets for the whole department so let me know. I'm interested....
thank you i need all the help i can get to get project off the ground without spending alot of money before i start having money comming in so i will be looking for those links and once again thank you.
Great video Coop... Thanks for sharing. I was just wondering how you figure out the length of paracord you would need for the different sizes of bracelets you choose to make?
I make the Trilobite, King Cobra, Cobra, Fish Tail and Millipede. But all i have is OD green haha. Not too much selection in the middle of nowhere.
Done, Sent you a message containing the info. All you have to do is go down to your local USPS and use the address I provided. Thanks again
Thanks for Video it is very informational. I appreciate the step by step instructions my kids and I are learning hobbies thanks to u.
The pins are welding nails for pulling dents out of a car. Just so you know what they are. Love the video thank you.
Thanks for the idea..made one the other day...now I have to make another for me...the wife took the first one...
What sizes do you use for S, M, L, and XL? Like what do you set your bracelet length for on each size?
Does it matter how you put in buckles? Do you put then on upside down or right side up or does it mater?
You are very welcome..
no video on this one
Im not sure why but i cant find the wood you bought online at homedepot and menards
Thanks mybdad and i made this one based off of your video. Thanks it works great!
Thank you
First off let me say THANK YOU FOR PROTECTING US HERE AT HOME!!!! And yes I'll be more than happy to send you one. Just PM what I all I need to do to send it.. Thanks for watching... ;o)
Very nicely done. Thanks for sharing this design.
Do u think u could make a video for it please cause I like the design
The 5/8 is a bigger buckle and it fits the king cobra bracelet better than the 3/8 does. Plus it is a better buckle for dog collars. Thanks for watching.. ;o)
That's OK. I'm getting ready to do a new video that will fit the 1/2" perfect.. Single Cobra Knot but with a twist.. The 1/2" will be perfect.... ;o)
What size nylon cable clamp for a 1/2 inch buckle? Nice video.
If u put it at 9 inches is that how long the bracelet or no
On that bolt you could just make a rubber washer that fits on top of the metal washer...
Obtaining the wight cable ties in the UK ( even at the bigger stores in the UK) is near impossible. Your vids are brilliant by the way. As in very informative.
could u possibly send me the instructions :)
Hi my hubby just made the jig he is an electrician not very good with wood i am getting confused about the buckles which end do you start on threading the paracord it is not working out it needs to be made very clear for an old dear
Thanks Mr coop, you have inspired me to have a go at making a paracored jig of my own Pete bike.
Where's the video of how to make this one
Oh and I think I ordered the 1/2" clips.
great vid way more detailed than others
great jig one more easy thing to do that has really helped me is on the Side of the main board, I opened in a 12 in ruler. this helps when getting my lengths of paracord
Where do you order your buckles from?
What are the wood measurements again
What kind of weave is the bracelet you are wearing in this video? Is it a king cobra weave?
the pins are dent repair pins
